If it doesn't have an accident history this is likely to be a good deal. Make sure to drive it on rough pavement and see if you are OK with the ride quality of the earlier models.

Have had the HUD before on my ‘18. I never really used it. Got the car back from an extended stay in the service department (they had turned it off while they were road testing the car) and I ran the car for weeks without noticing the HUD had been turned off. It’s a cool party trick, though.

Deal seems reasonable.

Different strokes for different folks. I use mine daily. It's the first thing I notice missing whenever I drive another vehicle without it. I don't think I'll buy another DD without it. Toys...sure, but I love HUD on my DD.

If it has HUD it probably has Distronic too. That's the most expensive option short of the AMG seats with Designo Nappa leather.

Absolutely. Although it wasn't a must for me, I have to admit that Merc executed it brilliantly. Sharp, crisp display in all lighting conditions and a good selection of information without ever being cluttered.

The PE was that must-have option for me.

Accounting for initial 15% discount original buyer might have gotten, $20k extra off after 1.5years is good imo.

Make sure it have PE.

It sounds like a NORMAL deal. Doesnt sound outrageously good or bad.

Think it was 67,500 and has pretty much everything with the exception of the HUD, selection dials on the steering wheel and the adaptive cruise control. It's got everything else.

Wow. $67k to $53k is outstanding - about 20% off. I would seriously consider a 2020 if I could achieve that from a dealer but the most I have seen is $5k off.

Think I got such a good deal because it was "End of year" and the dealership was trying to get a year end bonus for hitting their numbers
