Since you want to really nit-pick, then if you have less pops and crackles than before, where would they have gone? Have they not been lost somewhere?
jeez.

Lol who tf are you? This sub is dying for a good reason, forum is doing fine, it’s always had great AMG sub-forums, this one doesn’t count in that category.

Who am I? I'm the guy that's telling you that you're a garbage member of this community. "LOL." Why don't you go play in the other AMG forums since this one doesn't count?

I’ve done more for the AMG community on this forum than you could ever hope to accomplish, cleaned upon the trash a million times over since ‘06. It’s fun to mess with you 43 guys, you’re incredibly sensitive and easy to rile up. Wonder why that is?

OH MY GOD MY SIDES BRO.
how many eBay AMG badges can you slap on that fake AMG? A build thread for tchochkes? Dude you are forever a joke to me. The PUDDLE lights? The Affalterbach badges are downright insulting, considering nothing about your vehicle was built in Affalterbach. Guess the poser found me this time, how quaint.

No more MB:(
Learn your audience. I've owned more AMG vehicles then you probably ever will. Along with many high line Benz cars, think multiple S, SL,G, CL's even. Plus a couple of C63's as well. When you hit a dozen plus please let me know. We can chat then. Good day.

Going back to OP's question: it really depends. If you are financially stable and can trust independent techs, and you've owned it for a while without problems you can probably skip the warranty. it's all subjective though. I don't know much about AMG but some BMWs (even non M) are a total money pit. I still have nightmares of my E92.

i just looked at Mercedes receipt.
i paid 2000$ for 75,000 miles extended warranty.
i got rear flex disc cracking replaced at 69k miles, car currently at 93k miles.
i'm sure it wont take 2000$ out of pocket.

If it's not too late - back to the OP...
1. There is NO 4yr "added" Mercedes Warranty, and there is NO $5,000 Mercedes Warranty for C43C:
a. - if OP purchased as a New Car - then Mercedes "ELW (term for Extended New Car Warranty) maximum extension would be 3yrs to 100,000 miles for MSRP $4000 - less term or less total miles
would be max $3K.
b. if OP purchased CPO - then max CPO extension would be 2yrs Unlimited Mileage for MSRP $2,800
2. So from what has been presented OP most likely purchased this C43C from a non-MB dealer - with the remaining balance of the Mercedes New Car Warranty expiring at 50K miles or in April 2021 - whichever comes first - and I say that in case OP doesn't know that
3. If OP is intended for existing warranty to expire by time - April 2021 - then he/she must have low mileage
4. Shopping and pricing a non-MB aftermarket warranty can get intense - and to find out if a particular "brand" after market warranty is of any value - or not - is to talk to a MB Service department that has experience with the approval/claim procedure for that same brand aftermarket warranty
Until you can confirm from a MB dealer what a particular "brand" aftermarket warranty "really" covers and doesn't cover - you could be spending the worst investment for $5K - shot in the dark
5. Depending on the intended "total miles I plan to drive" is put on the table - your future Maintenance Costs and future "repair risk" is also a shot in the dark
Yes - we have forum members who value their forum membership by Verbosity - that are impressed by themselves the more they talk on-and-on-and-on - those same members seem to be ignorant on actually trying to help the OP with a OP's genuine inquiry.
