2020 C43 Wheel Fitment

Picking up my new C43 coupe on Friday! Very excited.

I'm getting with the standard 18" wheels and the wheel inset is the only thing I'm not digging about the car. I have a summer wheel and tire setup from my BMW and was wondering if they'd fit. I looked at the wheel fitment post but all the different sizes/offsets/spacers made my head spin. The wheels are:

Front: VMR V710 18x9.5 ET35 5x120 with Hankook Ventus V12 225/45/18
Rear: VMR V710 18x9.5 ET45 5x120 with Hankook Ventus V12 255/40/18

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I love these wheels.

Unfortunately, they will not fit.

Bummer! Thanks for the quick reply.

Sounds like I should start with 15mm spacers and 40mm lug bolts all around?

I actually prefer to change wheels to wider ones while keeping closer to the original offset. You get better handling that way. Also less propensity to crab at low speed tight turning. Like 8.5” front and keep the offset to around 30-33, and 10” rear keeping the offset in the low 50s. That way you preserve the handing and road manners. This is what I prefer, but maybe not what everyone else is doing. Spacers are the easier and cheaper way but you end up with very low offsets.

Makes sense. I've never used spacers and don't feel 100% about them. Any wheels/manufacturers you can recommend for me to begin my search? What's the bolt pattern?

Don’t get me wrong, spacer are 100% okay to use and safe. I have multiple sets of wheels and I use them on some.

The bolt pattern is 5/112.
