Tire Size Limit

It's time for me to purchase some new tires. My wheels specs are 19x8.5 et 30 for the front and 19x9.5 et 42 for the rear. I am currently on stock suspension possibly looking to get sport springs in the future.
My question is which tires size should I get? I believe I have 2 options.
225/40/19 and 255/35/19
or
235/40/19 and 265/35/19
Will the second option work on stock suspension? or will the tire rub on the control arm?

I spent over an hour on that forum looking forward an answer and couldn’t seem to find it. I saw that it would would on H&R springs but not on stock height.

the difference is minimal - but stock suspension at that offset can look pokey. If you have 5mm of clearance the larger tire size will be fine.

Why do you think those sizes would work if lowered but not at stock height? Honestly, all of your questions have been answered many times before.

235/40/19 front, 275/35/19 rear to keep the same rolling diameter. 265/35/19 would work for the rear too if you couldn’t find 276 in the tires you want. The fronts may visually poke a bit on stock suspension.

From my understanding lowering the car gives you more clearance does it not? I think it’s about ~5mm of extra clearance which is huge for the front of our cars.

^ lowering the car does nothing for clearance of the inner suspension arm, only the fenders. Lowering helps the wheels tuck inside the fenders more, however, if you're not lowered, there's less concern of making contact with the fenders.
