Thinking about keeping my C43 at lease end
I looked at other C43 and even C63 competitors and I honestly just really like Mercedes interior. Sadly, the sounds and rawness will be practically non-existent with the upcoming 2022 models. I was actually thinking of going for the Mercedes EQS since I might as well go full EV with all these "AMG" models being completely neutered in the upcoming years.
Thanks!

I think their interior is a lot better than the same class BMW and Audi, at least better design in my eyes. I also like the performance exhaust on my C43 a lot; the BMW and Audi just sounds too muted.
I figure if I go for the E-Class, I might as well get that new EQS that's coming out. The interior is gorgeous in that one and definitely class leading (for now).

With my entire lease for 36k miles and my estimate that I will only drive about 15k miles, the lease buyout price is set in stone so if I return the lease, I will literally be paying depreciation for the car being driven 36k miles while it only realistically depreciated 15k miles, which is a huge benefit for the dealership. If I buy it out, I think that would be much better for me, and then just sell it privately if I decide not to keep the car.

To answer your question, the problems with the C43 are minor ones. For me, other than the diff whine, vibration at set speeds, rattles and creaks, that jerky transmission by design, and a bunch of other small annoying issues that doesn't affect's the car's performance or functionality and which I don't even bother taking it in anymore since there is a chance the dealership will break something else xD, it is generally reliable. The facelift which you have also have a softer suspension due to adjustment of the damping. The transmission is also smoother than pfl.
