ModalWorks True Cold Air Induction System, performance data
Any videos of both versions so we can hear the sound?

I just paid more than this for some cfrp INTERIOR trim for my e63. The full carbon intake for that car is 4K or more from other companies

I’d imagine this will sell out for many years at this price, 1475. This is alot of carbon. And I’m a carbon snob since the nineties. What was once the best military American carbon is now made in Taiwan (best tech for that) and most tooling comes from China (and can even be rebranded in German).
I have no affiliation to this company and don’t have this car. I do not claim to know it’s quality.
Weighing in cause this looks great and priced well! Everyone educated in the field knows how to critique performance. I’m critiquing those that have no clue about how expensive carbon and carbon development is.

With that being said, bespoke pieces such as this intake is what make components expensive. The R&D aspect with proven model design and accurate CFD simulation is what takes the cake. Otherwise, part's such as trim pieces can easily be made with molds of existing body panels.
*Not saying this is a bad product nor is it an outrageous price to be clear.

And what filters do you use? In case I need a replacement.
I am choosing an intake system for my GLC43 now, and looks like the system from Logos has a shortest air travel, but the filters should suck more dust too...

Won't any system suck in dust? The logos system looks like the alpha system for the 3.0 turbo for the q60 (same concept away). Which is actually infiniti/ nissan approved, I don't think nissan would have put that in their official sport catalouge if it was detrimental. (Having intake filters at the front of the car).
If the numbers were close, I'd definitely stick with Modal just because the look of these CF pipes

But at this moment I don't even know if it's possible to install the kit from Modal on GLC 43.
they have different looks and very different price points.

1. Increased airflow
2. Reduced intake air temperatures
3. Increased boost (less pressure drop before the turbo)
4. Reduced dragy times

So in other words after the lunar new year? Which would put the delivery date around begining or March?
