Driving in Sport + mode
Driving a 2017 C43 in Sport + mode in low gears usually encountered jerking or bob effect. Anyone can share how to rectify this. Thanks

Yup, just like the post above me stated with all the links of different owners' complain. it is a common "issue" or we call it a characteristic of our cars. This tranny is reliable just that the programming is rather "interesting"
As for the hopping effect, the best way to reduce it is to not hesitate when pushing the accelerator as the gear ratios are rather short between gear 1 and gear 2. Another way to stop it immediately is just upshift manually.

As said tons of threads on this, but I think it's worth reiterating that S+ is not meant to tool around in lower gears at slow speeds and casual acceleration. The solution to your "issue" is to use Comfort mode in those situations. The bucking and such is not something that's unique to this car. Most of us who have driven manual transmissions in prior lives are probably very familiar with this. It also occasionally happens in my C63, which like an MT uses a clutch instead of a torque converter so there is a solid driveline connection. Whenever you get into a situation where the flywheel can no longer smooth out the power delivery, you get into this situation. The flywheel is actually something I think that was never mentioned in this context, but I'm guessing it's on the smaller side even in the C43 for a better response from the engine, but on the other hand it doesn't store as much energy to smooth things out if you get into a bucking situation. With the low gear ratios you have a very direct drivetrain, and while the C43 still uses a torque converter, I'm suspecting that in S+ it quickly locks up the torque converter, so you have a solid driveline connection as well at those low speeds.
I've mentioned this before, but in my C63 FWIW, I always drive in manual mode when I'm in S+ or Race. I only use the automatic mode in Comfort, so my transmission only ever learned my casual driving style. All my dynamic driving is done in manual mode, and then it's up to me to select the gears to drive smoothly.

Like others said the "rodeo effect" seems to be more of a quirk than a flaw; in other words, I think it is just a crappy feature than something that would get worse and ultimately damage the transmission. It is perfectly fine in manual, and automatic software is meant to replace the manual shifting, so I think it is just bad software. TBH driving it in S+ on streets where you go over the bumps and have to modulate the gas is not a good idea even if you did not have this jerking effect because S+ transmission is way too aggressive.

^That and I probably don't recommend driving in Sport+ in stop and go traffic either.
Edit: Forgot to mention, you may also bring your vehicle to the dealership and check for new updates to the TCU although if you take your vehicle to the dealership for annual service anyways, it is likely they already updated the TCU and other components. The update may or may not help depending on how old the software you have.
