Any one see this factory code yet? I am seeing it on a local 2021 C43 build.

This might be a misprint. Option 251 is the AMG Drivers Package as far as I know. It means different things for different models. Among other things it includes the AMG Driving Academy purchase credit. On the 63 models it increases the top speed to 180 mph. It's a standard option on the 63S models. The C43 does not come with 180 mph top speed. Depending on the market the AMG Drivers Package includes things like the AMG Drive Unit for the C43.

You can decode the VIN here, and it gives you detailed options. https://www.mbdecoder.com/.

Here's option 251 on my C63S build:

Most stage 1 or stage 2 tunes remove the speed limiter.

It's not so much a typo as a mismatch in the system probably. The options codes are universal across models and markets, but the system is supposed to map it to the applicable description based on model and market. It looks to me that Netstar is incorrectly mapping it to the description for the C63S. I haven't done the calculations, but I don't think the stock 385 hp is even enough to reach 180 mph. The theoretical top speed of a car comes down to how much power it makes, along with the weight and aerodynamics. The C63S with 503 hp can reach about 190 actual (not speedo indicated) if unrestricted, so I highly doubt the C43 will reach 180 with 118 less horses. Remember it takes four times as much power to go twice as fast.

Prob not 180. And not on runflats. But it’s still pulling pretty hard at 130.

Not on Facelift as that requires a CPC tune/ replacement.
