Evolution of my c43
I have been meaning to put this thread together for some time and decided today is the day. Here is my pre-facelift c43 the day I picked her up:

Shortly after, I tinted the windows (20% all around), powder coated the wheels black (60% gloss), wheel spacers (12mm front, 15mm rear), OEM black center caps, MB
tire stem caps, blacked out emblems, OEM black c63 exhaust tips, RW Carbon front lip, RW rear diffuser, RW Carbon spoiler, RW Carbon mirrors and RW Carbon side skirts:

Then I got a stage 1 tune from OE tuning, BMS intakes, OEM black diamond grill, wrapped front grill bar and wrapped door handles:

For all the extra money you spent on mods could you have gotten a 63?

haha, close for sure. I got deals on virtually all parts and labor. I picked the car up a year used as a CPO. I test drove a CPO c63s at the same time and there was an $18k difference between the two. My mods total slightly less than that difference. I have had a few modified high horsepower rear wheel and front wheel drive cars in the past and the lack of traction off the line got old to me - hence why I went with an AWD car this time around. I generally cannot keep a car stock for long, so I am sure I would have modified the c63s too. At the end of the day, I am very happy with how my c43 turned out and have no regrets.

Thanks so much! Draggy results show approximately one second off the stock 1/4 time (11.7 at 119 mph) and 0-60 in 3.6-3.7. Beyond just the numbers, the suspension, acceleration and throttle response are noticeably better than stock. Car is an absolute riot to daily drive.

This place is a joke.
Nice job, not overdone and the awd is a bonus for rapid acceleration in the suburbs, also more sure footed in the rain. I was always a 2wd AMG guy until I owned a few 4matics.

no one has ever posted lately about the ultra racing braces. can you let me know if there is a difference and provide a mini review? i was thinking the of doing the same. that drop makes your car looks sexy and mean!

The lip, diffuser, side skirts, mirrors and spoiler are carbon fiber (not wrapped). The door handles and front grill wings are wrapped in 3M “carbon fiber” vinyl. I had the door handles and grill wings professionally wrapped, it cost approximately $100.
