Missing Car Jack on a C43 Wagon

Here's a dumb question....on page 384 of the C-Class Wagon Owner's Manual it states "...vehicles are not equipped with a tire-change tools kit."

So because the standard tire is a run-flat, this means if there is a flat tire, there is no way to change the tire without going to a tire shop? Geez, why wouldn't they have put in a jack and lug wrench????
Yeah, there is no spare with run-flats, but what if the run-flat capability doesn't work, due to a blow-out for instance, then what??

I have a floor jack, socket to fit, and a torque wrench as I normally swap the winter/summer tires myself. Now I need to have a ratchet in order to do this.

Whose 'brilliant' was that?

They want you to spend $100 for spare tire changing kit(tire not included). And another $300 for space saver tire. All marketing my friend.

Yup exactly. Anyways, OP here is the part number if you do want it: A2055800100... I used to order from Mercedes Canada for parts like these but for some reason they closed it down and now you can only get it through the dealerships (as in official ways) you could totally get it from amazon.ca

I have Mercedes emergency service for 5 more years.....I'll let them figure it out.

Ya as long as you aren't at a remote location then you should be fine.
