That looks sick!! Could you do me favour and get a closer picture of what the components look inside the grill. Mine are silver for some reason and they stick out like a sore thumb. Is it because you have some sort of cover?

So far, so good, but not getting a lot of miles these days WFH. I bought the mesh off Amazon, carefully trimmed it, held it into place with zip ties.
I’m thinking about trying to better protect the lower section as well. When I had the bumper off, the bottom portion of the radiator gets some road rash.

Sweet. Literally just ordered a mesh off amazon. Its coming tomorrow!! Super excited

Zip ties are holding up no problem? I would think the heat would melt it but if its working thats awesome!
Holding up well, no problems yet. I don’t think hi temp would be an issue, but maybe over time with heat cycles they could become brittle. I’d think it’s low stress, so probably ok.

All done!
So i installed the plastic trim.
Then there were a few bits that were still showing which i decided to paint with high heat Matt paint.
The plastic trim [size=13px]wasn't[/size] fully hiding the silver bits we decided to spray it with high heat paint
This is what it looked like with all the parts blacked out
Then i installed the mesh installed it with black zip ties which I got from amazon. Special thanks to Darrington for this idea. Looked amazing. Love how it gives it a bit of character.
I bought the mesh but have not installed it. I also found out that Mercedes sells the mesh that is OEM fit but not all dealerships area aware as you will need the VIN for a car that comes with the grill as stock.
