Any issue buying a Canada C43 in the US?
I am close to purchasing a 2017 C43 from an out of state dealership. The car is based in the US but says it was manufactured for Canada. I'm not finding a lot of difference, other than the temps and some things are labeled in Celsius. Also it has the ugly start button.
Does anyone know any other differences or things I should be worried about?
The car is cheaper than most (why I'm buying out of state) and the only one I found within my price range in the color I want. Warranties are already expired as well.

You're all good, plenty of Canadian market vehicles running around in the US.

Basically the differences are in the region settings. You won't be able to activate Mercedes me as far as I know and as you already discovered, temps will be in Celsius. Also the speedometer is in kph, so what they typically do is put a template over it in case of the analog cluster so it shows mph. Sometimes they use the wrong template and then the indicated speed is wrong. Underneath is the original kph cluster. They don't replace the entire cluster with an mph cluster.

On the Canadian model you can change everything to American Imperial settings minus the speedo obviously. However you also have a setting to show MPH digitally on the dash. I am actually planning on relocating to the US and taking my C43 with me and have done the research. I actually have a local Benz shop that does the gauge conversion. You may have one around also. Also as someone mentioned, you will not have access to Mercedes Me as Canada did not get the option until the Facelift models

I have a 2017 here in US that was built for Canada. Mine shows mph, but all the temps are in C. You would think there would be an easy way to fix that given the complex software, but I haven't found it.. Other than that no issues although my son claims it smells faintly of maple.

As long as Canadian car hasn't been in salt infested winter, you should be fine. I would personally stay away from Toronto and Montreal cars, like wise NYC, Detroit and Boston. To name few.

PFL205.064 with M276.823 (Oil pump solenoid defeated)
I wondered if it was damaged by the previous owner or they just don't like that it didn't say Start/Stop engine and instead uses a symbol on our market models... or... if the previous owner changed it to an aftermarket one.
