Hello. I am new to owning a Mercedes. I’ve been doing pretty good figuring out things so far. Lol. But I cannot figure out why my rearview camera only takes up a small area of my screen. I will post a picture. Any help would be really appreciated. It’s a 2019 amg c43.
Well the picture is what it looks like. I don’t have the 360 so I would assume it would take up entire screen. The ones I see online take up the entire screen.
That's what it looks like in the FL with the widescreen. The cameras have a 16:9 aspect ratio, but the screen is 21:9. If it was full screen then the image would be stretched and distorted. Same thing that happens if you watch standard definition TV (4:3) on a high definition TV (16:9). Either you have black bars on the side or the the image is stretched. The area to the left is used for the 360 view in cars that are equipped with the parking package.
Maybe you can post a pic of where you see it full screen, but make sure it's a facelift with the ultrawide screen. If it has the entry level smaller screen then it's full screen, but the screen itself has a huge bezel as shown here.
