I had gotten 91 at Valero every fill up before hand, im not sure how to know how to know if that shell is ethanol free either. Also it pumped super super slow so i called my dad who is a truck driver who delivers gas he said maybe it has air in the line.

You might know already, MB prefers Top-Tier Gas, which shell is supposed to be on the list: https://www.toptiergas.com/
but I mean like I said, I've been using shell all the time and never had issues, I am also wondering if the fuel quality is bad at the station you filled up, hopefully not a big issue and gets resolved on its own.

It isnt on the list and tired to add it and it says it was once added but back in 2013 and they said it wasn't ethanol free back then
See if the station you went to is located here: https://www.pure-gas.org/

Hmmm that probably also means it is still not ethanol free, either way, hope you issue resolves itself after driving a little perhaps or if you want, drain it and put in another tank of fuel.

Sorry about this but I actually don't, as I do think our cars have a built in system that prevents thieves from extracting the fuel from the fuel tank as well so that doesn't help either. I am wondering if the gas station mess up the octane, I wonder if octane booster might help if that is the case but our cars are sophisticated and is able to retard timing to prevent knock so even with low octane it shouldn't be an issue.

Different car but similar idea (as in the same way of draining the tank)... maybe? https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...ml#post8875857

Hey brother I just did my 50k service changed spark plugs and air filters. My check engine light just turned on because my purge valve is miss firing. That seemed to fix it for now.
