2019 AMG C43

Boosting 2019 C43 Biturbo

I'm new to the AMG world, just bought a 2019 C43, 33K, great condition.. would be quite interested in boosting this engine. Best options? What adverse effects on the stock set up? thx

I currently have a Stage 1 AMR Comport Pro Tune (rated for an extra 95-105hp with a stock downpipe and intake) on my 2019 c43 and it improved the power by a lot. I believe I paid around $2000 CAD after everything and the best part is you can add the tune or remove the tune whenever with the OBD plug they give you. AMR does have a ship in ECU option as well as a CPC flash but that is more costly so I just went with the comport pro tune for quick and relatively cheaper power.

For downpipes (Stage 2) you can go with Weistec, CTS, Redstar, Armytrix, or Project Gamma.

For intakes the best option I've heard of is BMC drop in filters as C43's don't really improve much with after market intakes. If you are still interested you have ModalWorks, Burger Motorsports, CTS, MST, or Logos Engineering.

For blow off valves you get the extra pshhh but no performance. You have Weistec, Burger Motorsports, or Renntech.

Additional boosting requires a meth injection system and an intercooler I believe but I am not too sure how reliable this setup is with stock internals. Your best bet for quick power is a stage 1 tune with a stock setup or stage 2 tune by just changing the downpipe.

Stage 2: Cold Air Intakes, DownPipes, Tune. Stage 3: Add Bigger Turbos, Cold Air Intercoolers and Tune.

Brands are subjective. Tons of threads on here and Youtube.

Just beware That some people have reported blown engines from certain tunes. I have no personal experience with this, so I will not comment on which ones.

What are your objectives, how/where do you drive, do you care about maintaining warranty, etc. There are very different approaches, depending upon your requirements.

Most stage 1's will deliver similar results. But I think facelift W205s (2019 and after) will require a cpc tune to get the same results as a pre-facelift 2015-2018 W205. And the CPC tune costs as much as the ecu tune itself.

The downpipes certainly add some power and a louder sound but the larger turbos most people dont do because a stage 2 delivers most of the gains you are looking for at a way lower cost. Also upgraded turbos, nobody has ever actually installed, dyno'd , dragy'd them so nobody is even sure if they work. Only butt-dyno testimonials.
