If you are looking for a quick...easy...and cheap way to get it done, you can always use "Piano Black Hyperdip" I have used it on my wife's SUV and it's been on there for over 2 years now without issue. Super simple to put on! and then you don't have to worry about taking off the old badges, buffing out the glue, and trying to re-center the new ones perfectly

how to do you get the plasti dip off of the pain in between/around the letters?
Since the badges are Raised off of the panel, you just peel and/or rub the HyperDip right off the painted surface. Just search "how to plasti dip badges on car " on YouTube and they have tons of tutorials

Think of plasti dip as a sticker, yup you just peel it off when you don't want it, it has a rubbery texture and doesn't easily get washed off in the rain.Originally Posted by ChefBrew

You definitely want to protect the paint, use painter's tape and use plastic covers/bags (pick something that is not abrasive) cover the paint and tape around it, leaving the badge exposed. Originally Posted by ChefBrew
