Android screen install

I'm installing an aftermarket screen and had to pop out the air vents (really pop them down) to run the wires easier. Now I'm having the hardest time popping them back up into their clips. Any tips or tricks?

The side tabs go into the slots on each side, and the top tab goes into the top slot somehow. I can’t tell if the new wires are prohibiting it or if I’m just not lining it up correctly.

the more you look at this... the more you see where limitations are.
Trial and errors until you're satisfied with new wiring path.

You're the judge.

This happened to me too, you can either move the wiring around behind and keep wiggling till the air vents line up, or pull the headunit out and guide the wires around the vent ducts till they seat properly.

Ended up pulling the wiring back out and re-running it with the air duct in place. The wires were getting in the way of the top of the duct seating. I actually pulled the glove box out and it was WAY easier. There's a good hand hole on the right side that you can run the wires directly up the side of the duct... easy peasy. Shoulda done it from the jump.
