Whinning sound 50-60, jerky 3rd to 4ft

I have a C43 w205 2020. 40,000 miles.

The car starts to hum between speeds of 50-60 (more like a melusine, spinning wind), only under the gas, there are no vibrations, the sound cannot be detected from where it is coming from. It is heard most in the driver's area. The oil in the differential has been changed, but it did not help. The wheels are newly balanced with new tires.

The car shifts poorly from 3 to 4 in comfort mode. The biggest problem is in the city. Sometimes it raises the rpm by itself (I drive at 1,200, the car raises to 1,400 and shifts to 4). This does not happen in sport. But sometimes it shifts too early, it jerks and there is a bang from behind. When I shift manually to comfort, it is so tedious, the car jerks forward slightly. The vacuum valve was recently changed, the oil was also changed, but the gearbox adaptation was not done.

Video of melusine:

Have you tried to reset the transmission? There's a You Tube video out there for resetting our "learning" transmission:

Has your issue been resolved now?

I have similar experience on my 2022 W205 C43. It use to jerk more between 1st & 2nd gear. But somehow that's less evident post SW Update. But the 4th gear jerk appeared post Transmission Fluid service. I'm planning to bring to the service center to check more.

The new battery helped a lot (it was 4 years old) - the car does not increase the rpm when shifting from 3 to 4, but sometimes it jerks when shifting to 4, but you have to concentrate on it, otherwise you will not notice it.

The differential was rebuilt, it is no longer audible under the gas, but it is slightly audible when the gas is allowed at the same speed, but you have to be very careful - I took it to the service today and for it to completely disappear, a completely new differential would have to be put in, not just the bearings. You can try adjusting the clearance and overvoltage, but the sound could be worse, or you could try a different speed or load. I had a completely different bearing.

They say that adaptation is not done on these cars unless the transmission components are changed. Someone says that it can be even worse after adaptation. But what I asked is that only the given gear can be adapted/reset, for example from 3 to 4.
Then let me know

Are you talking about stand-still adaptation?

I guess so, I saw that Xentry can reset and learn the given gear, then a ride is performed, where Xentry guides how to pedal and several gear changes have to be made.

This transmission in this car both pre-facelift and facelift has "character" lets put it that way, but in the case of transmission jerkiness in MBs in general, some reported stand-still adaptation improved things.

GLC 250d Coupe
[CITAT=C43 Fido;9237460]Imam C43 w205 2020. Prešao je 64.000 kilometara.

Jeste li to popravili
