whats is included here ?
All the fragile plastic pipes or extra surprise charge?
Clean your damaged alternator extra ??
THIS JOB NEEDS GROUPING with:
New timing tensioners + worn intake VVT
New CPS sensor to prevent "oil in harness"
5-Basic TRANSMISSION only service: $1,148
>>> closer to $700 .
So overall those prices are middle of the road.
For a good deal inquire about whats INCLUDED... you know there will always be extras plus + plus.
Start with buying the front brake job. Inquire about brake fluid flush to preserve the system from internal rust.
I would not pay $1700+ for a reseal job!!
#### PLAN B: OTHER SHOP ...
Plan B:
Find a honestly price MB specialist for your "Reseal job...." THEN let them do your brakes for a trial.
Don't use two shops: just find a fair & trusted place.

Do not blow $1200 on a dirty seal job that is included with Tensioners + Intake VVT repairs.
The high priority is the silently leaking CPS sensors.
Focus on target results not cutting cost.
