Anyone know when and how much the C63 is?
Hello, I am itching to get another Mercedes AMG car. After totaling my C32 5 times over I bought a Lexus LS430 and it is way to boring for my lead foot. So my question is, does anyone know when the C63 is going to be available? Any idea on the price? I read that it is going to be at I beleive the Genova car show in Spring (I assume 2008) and will have a 6.2L V8 making between 450 - 502 HP. Sounds pretty sweet. I would guess it will be around $60K base price. Thanks for the insight.

Well as far as I know it will have the 6.3 V8 with Approx 400HP. And cost could be in the 60K. Anyone out there, correct me if I am wrong...

Dude. Slow down. Do you have a larger picture of your avitar to share? Looks like that car was totaled five times over! At least we know the 32 is a safe car to be in..

That's actually his car!! There's an insane thread recounting the harrowing story, he didn't exactly walk away unscathed. Looks like it hasn't tainted his need for speed though.

C63 Predictions...
I think the C63 AMG will cost $58,000 to $65,000 dollars, and I think it will have a de-tuned version of the 6.2L AMG engine, but should be at least making 450 hp... 
But I also think that after-market tuners such as RennTech, Kleemann, etc. will be able to UP-TUNE the engine back to 507 hp...
That much power combined with the C-Class's lighter weight advantage (compared to E, CLS, CLK, S), the C63 AMG will produce impressive 1/4 mile numbers...

Last report I heard said it will be available fall of this year, it will have the same engine on the CLK63 which produces 475 HP!! My local dealer is taking pre-orders on them already. I will be making a visit to them soon to order mine.

Only the regular 204's will be out this fall. The AMG won't be out until March/April next year.. At least that is what I have read/heard.
I am also hoping to get one..

The C63 won't be out this year. Probably beginning of next year. Pricing I believe will be under $63,000 - because I think the SLK will be more expensive than the C63, just my assumption.

That's what the sales manager confirmed on our phone conversation. He said they have all the options and color list that will be available for this car. The more exciting part is he assured me they are also taking pre-orders on the AMG model since he said they are expecting them to be delivered fall of this year to their lot... I hope it's true because I'm not sure I will wait until next year to get a new car

For me life goes on, you live and you learn. Before the accident I drove and raced all of the time for 10 years, some on track some off of the track. I made a mistake and I won't make it again.
