2005 C Wagon (No snickering please!)
I'd grab a NAFTA C63 if they brought it in. They won't. MBUSA surveys tell them that the masses want SUV's like the ML, GL, and R. Americans place little value on small wagons, and sales are tiny.
I drive a C55 wagon across the pond, and it is wonderful. Plenty of power to tow a heavy lighting generator, and manners enough to go for Cha Siu without takng a "goods vehicle" through the tunnel to Wan Chai.
Every wagon in the 60's could be fitted with a big block V8. Those were the days, before OPEC. 100+ octane, twenty-nine cents a gallon with full service.

Just in case anyone wonders what an AMG "grocery getter" can do...

I personally think don't think they need it... Why did they build the R63 or ML63 not to mention the E63 wagon... People always say they'll buy it but who does?
Looks very nice though.

Nice and it should be offered over here as the S4 wagon has sold pretty well.
However, it's only real use is as a sleeper as for practicality (which is what a wagon has to offer) it is well behind that of the E63 Wagon.

I wouldn't purchase it, esp. with fuel-prices slated to continue climbing up.
I'm hoping for a V8 CDI E-class wagon and a V6 CDI C-class wagon.
Americans are currently NOT wanting a fuel-thirsty SUV, and the slide in SUV sales shows this.
A fuel-efficient wagon with lots of torque, now you're talking . . .

The E63 and ML63 are likely not going anywhere. I see tons of ML63 and E63 wagons here in SoCal. Itsd a daily occurance.
The R63 I only saw a few, and to think I wanted to buy one.

I've only seen one W211 E63 wagon, two R63's, and a handful of WI64 63's. I'm sure there are more out there. On the other hand, you do see quite a few B6/7 S4 Avant's out there.

2005 C220 cdi wagon
The rear looks like a subaru legacy... Why couldn't they keep the style of the w203's tail light, where it goes along the side and not slope backwards, but forwards.
