If you look carefully at the list of cars "driven" for this issue, you'll notice the Lexus IS-F is there. Why didn't they include it in the shoot-out with the other 3 cars. Damn. That would give us some conclusive evidence of the IS-F's prowess or lack there of.

looks like the test was done in Europe..
I really don't like these comparisons.. they don't usually provide track data..
when you see a comparison from MT at Laguna Seca/Monterrey or driving through the LA on their way to Cal Speedway.. then you know you are getting the real deal.
I will read it.. but will consider for what it is.
(euro spec cars) perform better than US spec cars (emmissions, difference tuning, ect)

That GTR should be one hell of a track car...with Japanese reliability as well. Too bad it's so damn ugly. My .02, of course.

Why get your panties in a bunch the original Skyline would make a Z06 look like a lessor car so you would think that a New US version would definitely be a better car but one has to wait for comparisons to really know. Its not worth the aggravation. Got to youtube.com and see the vids on the GT-R instead. There is even one (basically stock) going up againt a (heavily Modded Supra) and it freaks out the testers on the track.

2005 SL55 AMG
A Z06 is a real American beast. The GT-R is a real Japanese Godzilla juiced up on turbos and AWD. Italian stallion said it well, it's more of a 997 turbo for Z06 price. Plus, the interior is so much more plush than the plasticy Z06.

2012 Cayenne Turbo
Is the 480hp/432 lbft/3800lbs spec correct on the Skyline? If so, how the hell would that keep up with a 505HP/470lbft/3200lbs Z06? Let alone any 911 from the GT3 on up.

Official specs haven't been released yet. You have to wait till the Tokyo Motor Show on the 23rd...5 more days and all (or most) questions will be answered.
