2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG S
I'll Never Understand Mercedes??

No Keyless Go & parktronic is a deal breaker for me especially considering the competition has these desirable features not to mention the consistently lousy navigation system and stereo. It just falls short of being a great combination of luxury and performance for the price.

Mercedes Benz consistently makes poor decisions and apparently does not read our forum. Don't you think it would be smart of Mercedes Benz USA to monitor our forum of enthusiasts that not only buy but promote their automobiles and ask our opinions prior to making these decisions?

They just lost my business for the C63. I know this may be extreme but come on, the Keyless Go should now be standard in all AMG cars. Just my opinion.

Yea, I am getting the same run around. Wanted the perf pkg, carbon fiber trim, and 19" wheels shown on the amg site, but dealer does not show on their ordering system. Also heard today that the pano roof that does show on their dealer ordering system actually is not available on the C63. Honestly I don't really think they know what is going on...

slk32(gone), 08 c63.
USA weird options this time for the new C class. Here in Canada, even the normal C class (c300,350) has the options of keyless go and parktronic (i dont know if its the same thing, but it has radars on the rear bumper). Moreover, my dealer even told me the C63 might come with navigation as standard (because hid head lights are standard for the normal c class).
anyways, i think this might be how Mercedes is trying to retain canadian buyers from buying vehicles from the US, thus making more things standard and allows more options?? (we are paying over 10k in extra for the c350 comparing to the US)

Mercedes
Mercedes - read my lips. If you save all the good options for the E class, I'm still not going to buy an E63 for $90k. I'll just get an M3 or S/RS car instead.

I'm not so sure it was "not so favorable"

They concluded that the C63 beats the M3 in every single category except on the track. So the C63 wins in straight line performance, power, torque, luxury, room, practicality, functionality, trunk space, etc.....

Don't forget that BMW has a M3 sedan coming this spring. That will even things up a bit.

so MB set out to make a car that was a sports sedan (segment winner) and it failed. The point that bothers me the most is that the M3 rides better and handles better. We all said it was ok to have more understeer and less road feel as long as it was more comfortable. So with that comfort thrown out the M3 wins in every category! All those other categories you mentioned will be resolved once they test the saloon version of the M3. That coupe was not a fair comparison.

Its really to bad I want the C63 to be the best sport sedan to date. I think it looks great just needs the dynamics to follow suit!

I'll be curious to see if the U.S. market cars get tagged with having a "rock-hard" ride like the Euro versions have so far.
