I think Mercedes made a huge mistake with the C63 in trying to compete with M3 in the hadeling department. They should have stuck with what made AMG cars sucessful, which is huge power and comfortable ride. Now they made the C63 ride harsher than the M3 and yet still not handle as well as an M3.

I see so you have driven both cars already? Otherwise perhaps comments about ride comfort should be reserved until driving both the M3 and the C63.

ah, don't be too harsh, if you have watched or read many of the reviews, they all mention the level of comfort on the C63 with out and with the sport pack.

Auto car, car and driver and verdict on cars.com have said the 18" tire and wheels with std suspension was very stiff and the drive bone jarring on poor roads. I am not sure they thought it was harsh for a luxury sports sedan like C63 or they just thought it was very harsh compared to even sports cars such as Porsche etc

Slk 55 amg on std suspension is harsher on poor roads compare to porsche cayman/911 with adaptive suspension and SLk55 amg with perf pack is said to be even harsher

I am guesing that C63 ride is fine on decents roads and U.S highways but can be very stiff and uncomfortable on poor roads
