Is the C63 losing it's luster?
No Keyless Go.
No Parktronic.
No Panoramic Roof.
Goofy pop-up NAV.
Boring and cheap interior.
Etc, Etc...
$70,000.00 to get into one. Ouch, that hurts.
About 3 months ago this car couldn't get any hotter, but now it seems like the buzz has changed.
I for one have lost all interest. I was more excited than anyone about it but the more I read about the shortcomings I became more and more disinterested.
Thoughts?

Go out and drive one when available, and by the time you return, if you do... you'll be looking for a pen to sign those papers. BTW if you had the choice to build a performance car, would you load it with heavy options, like a pano roof and more electronic equipment?Although, I agree, at a minimum MB should have installed the key-less go, as un reliable as it has been before, I feel it makes the car more exotic.

Yeah I would. The car looks like sex with the pano-roof I don't care if it makes it heavier it's not that serious. Keyless go however... I could care less. I like to turn my own key.

On the roads, the C63 is the king of its segment when you compare to cars like the M3, RS4, and IS-F. Of course, if you include the upcoming 550HP CTS-V in this segment, then the CTS-V will the king when it comes to performance on everyday roads (which is mainly straight line acceleration runs).
Sure, the C63 still lags behind the M3 on a track (more so than the C55 did compared to the E46 M3), and that is the major disappointment for me. So far, the C63 is still losing most of the comparison tests, so this is another sign of "failure" as MB was hoping to really reign in the M3. But it doesn't take away from the fact that the C63 is one hell of a performance car and performs a lot better than the C55 and E46 M3 (it's just that the E92 M3 raised its game even more by having superior handling and a more comfortable ride at the same time and still maintaining a superiority in driver involvement).
The lack of a LSD won't impact on everday performance that much, IMO. It may help you in acclerating out of tight slow corners on a track, but that's about it. (The electronic "pseudo LSD" system on the C55 works pretty well for me when I track my car and on the streets when I turn ESP Off). Bottom line, if I wanted a car like the C63 now, not having Navi, pano-roof, or keyless go would not stop me from buying one.

C63 will get destroyed by CTS-V on any riceboi stoplight race (for 0.002s of glory)
C63 will get destroyed by IS-F on reliability & resale value
The only thing C63 has is the 3-star badge, so MB wh0res will still buy them. But then because MB USA has been running the new C-class TV ad's non-stop with "starting at $32,425" plastered all over, any chicks you hope to impress will think you can "only" afford the cheap Mercedes Benz... lol

And who buys a 4 door MB sedan just for the motor...? It's gotta have the best luxury & convinience options available, period.
