Moderators, can we get a OTHER CARS forum ?
So we can talk about any new cars coming up instead of placing it all in here? I noticed there is alot of other traffic in here focused on other cars. In that forum we can start a thread FOR the ISF, M3,M5, RS4, RS6, S5,CTS-V and the Skyline GTR. what do you guys think?

I feel a little disqualified given that I don't own a C63, but I suppose that puts me in good company since NOBODY owns a C63.

If a forum cannot talk about competing or comparable cars, then it's a fairly hollow "lets-make-ourselves-feel-good-about-what-we-bought" forum. If the discussion veers off into motorcycles, minivans and music, then I agree that moderators need to clamp down. But discussions about the M3 the RS4 and other high-high performance cars are very relevant to potential C63 buyers.

I agree. While relatively new to these forums, I came here to learn about MB and the C63 in comparison to the competition. I, like I'm sure several others, aren't married to the MB brand and have a list of options. When considering this kind of purchase in today's economy, I'd much rather see open & honest discussions about the C63's strengths & weaknesses vs. the competition.

The reason non-C63 cars are discussed here is that they are compared to C-63s. Obviously, there are people who can't bear the strain of comparisons and just want to hear about the C63.

I do not agree with much of the criticism of the C63 here, nor do I think that all of the comparisons make any sense at all (Nissan GTR?). But why be so limiting? The subject lines tend to indicate the content. So if it's about the GTR or the RS4 or the CTS-V, don't click on it.

+1.

The OP- You didn't include a poll but if you did I'd vote "no."

Mainly because buyers 'categorize' and compare based on any number of items important to themselves...performance, luxury, price, # of doors, whatever. I agree the GT-R is a different segment, but still very comparible in terms of price. Still...I agree...why limit the discussion as long as it's relatively related to the C63 and similar cars?
