Drove the C63

A few AMG US owners attend the Winter Sporting Event in Arjeplog Sweden and we had a ton of drive time in the C63 over the 4 days of the event. I think all you not buying the C63 because of lack of LSD should reconsider. The car handled amazing on the ice and it really has the right balance of torque and horsepower and it sounds great. Here are a couple of videos and pictures.

It is kinda of funny we all built a special bond trying to push each others car out of the snow, however if you got in so deep you had to call for the G Wagon to pull you out and the sticker points to the hook up. I think on day 1 I had the most G Wagon pulls

I think you misunderstood - I wondered the same thing as Carl. The front bumper has a protective cover down around the airdam - compare the pics you took vs. any other C63 pics. My guess is that it's to protect the AMG bumper from snow/ice damage during the event... that's just a guess though.

I did also notice the orange arrow pointing to the tow hook... that's funny that they used a G Wagon to tow you guys out. Why not a Unimog? haha. Looks like it would've been a seriously fun time - congrats!

The extra molding was for additional protection when spinning out into the snow banks.

Yeah, that's what I figured. Interesting that it's body-color-matched, though, not just some gloss-black afterthought - nice attention to detail on MB's part.
