i am expecting my White/black C63 early May here in NY. My e46 M3 goes back April 28th so its perfect timing. I just got off the phone with my dealer and he still have no info for me in regards to lease prices. Im hoping in early April I can at least get some lease rates. The price came out to just below $63k but I am not sure if that included gas guzzlar tax.

my deposit went in yesterday for a May '09 delivery...white on black as well...

my purchase order came out to $63k, im assuming thats including a gas guzzler tax...

53800+ 825 (destination) + 2950 (seating) + 2950 (multi-media) + 1080 (P2)

Unless im missing something Im assuming that $1300ish is gas guzzler (i hope)

I'd be interested to hear what kind of lease rates you get also as im in the same area and Id like to kind of know what type of payments to expect...

i actually had my ipod set up in my last two cars but never used it...music isnt really my thing as my radio is always on WFAN

There was a chat on AMG Private Lounge last night and Rob Allen stated that the launch date is April 15th and that dealers should have their cars around that time.

I heard from a few dealers that it will be coming in April 15, but when I actually put deposit it quickly got changed to early may...hmm

I was told only certain dealers will have them by April 15th. One of the dealers in this area isn't getting their first one until June since their earliest production date is May.

April 15th is the wholesale date for the C63...That means that internally, we receive pricing on vehicles, and that any cars at the VPC will be released to carrier. Hope that clears up the confusion. All 08's are ordered cars, so they should be produced as orders had to be in by January. Otherwise, they will all be released as 09's on 7/20

Just came back from the dealer. They "said" they have one on the water that's supposed to be at the dealer on 4/15. Showed me the NetStar printout. It had pricing already on it. First time I've seen option pricing on a NetStar printout.

Now my MB dealer advises that it may be May/june
What has made me angry about this is the fact that that my deposit was put down over 10 months ago. I assume dealer just banked the month and never put order officially forward until much later.

Placed my deposit yesterday. Palladium silver, Sahara Beige Leather, PII, Multimedia, Leather Package, iPod adapter. Decided to wait an extra 4 weeks to get an '09 instead of an '08. Build date is in June, delivery will be late July. Should hear the actual build decile and then day soon. + 4 weeks to get delivery in NJ.

My order is for a 08 that is supposed to be built May with June delivery. I have to call my salesman to make sure it will be early June. If it is going to be late June I think I will wait for a 09. Does any one know how much the MSRP difference will be from the 08 to 09. I usually only keep a car for 2 to 3 years so I am thinking that it might be better to hold off for the 09. I do not want to own the car for a month and have it be a year old already. I do not want the 030 package due to the stiffer suspension so that does not matter from the 08 to 09 just don't want to have a car that is a year old in 1 month. Most car mfg's discount left overs at the end of the year and I know that I full be paying full boat for this car already so I fell like I will be getting ripped paying full MSRP when it will be a year old shortly.
