Bob, you really have lots of questions, don't you? Well, what part of the E55 you want me to compare with the C63? Built quality? Power? Handling? Sound system? Gas mileage? Just to remind you, my E55 is far from stock, so some of the things can't be used as guide lines, hope you understand.

G55 & SLK55
Thanks. I'm waiting for the arrival of my SLK55 which is supposed to be next Wednesday, and then I will take a picture of the whole AMG clan.
Bob,
I haven't taken delivery of the 997TT yet, as it's an 09. Because of building department's BS for Nassau County, I actually have to push the delivery date back to Jan, 09. (Current garage not big enough for my collection) I would definitely get the P030 pack if it were my car, for less than 4K, it's a worthwhile option. Fuel consumption is..... no idea, I'd only put down another 40 miles since delivery, but I would say it's probably ok if you don't have a heavy foot. Would I use this as my baby transport....hmmmm.....that depends on where you live, if you are like me who have bumpy roads around the area (schools, supermarket, day care, etc.), I would probably opt for an E63 or similar because of Airmatic Suspension, unless you are ready to clean your child seat once in a while.
Thank you for the compliments.

Congratulations and enjoy it in the best of health, I like how you put cleaning the baby seats one in a while

Thanks guys, I know you guys still have lots of questions waiting to be answered, but it's time to go sleep. I will report back tomorrow when I have the whole morning crawling underneath the car. Good night you all.

Logic 7 sounds about the same as the ones I have in my others, but maybe because of the different bodies, the system in the C sounds less-rich, if you know what I mean. Seats are very very good, I used to sit in those Recaro Pole Position in one of my other cars going to and from work back in the days, and these are much better, probably better than the ones in my E55 & ML63, I just love 1-piece seats. To tell you the truth, I like the previous command better, now it's too BMW like, which I'm quite familiar with, on the MB, it's like I-Drive from gray market, have to get used to.

It's a phenominal car, probably the sportiest C-Class I've ever owned to date. Anyway, here's my review on the suspension as most people are concern with. Ride is definitely on the firm side, it's actually the firmest suspension I've ever driven on in an MB, you will definitely have to pay attention to bumps and pot holes and go very slowly. However, it's not what you would call rough, I have 2 race cars with full suspension upgrades, and the stock suspension is very toleratble, can't say the same for AMG Performance Pack'd cars since mine is an 08. The seats are very supportive, on the sides of each seat, there are 3 buttons to adjust the side bolster, back support, and thight (sp?) support. The exhaust has a very, very raw rumble, but MB did a very good job in keeping that noise away from the cabin, so it's quite quiet inside, but not as quiet as my ML63. The wife said it's on the loud side, but it's just about right for me. I hadn't gotten the chance to really step on it, but on the way home, turning off from the main road to the side street which leads to my house, I gave it a little gas, about half throttle, and the street is a bit longer than 1/4 mile, the car went from 10MPH to 90 without sweat, but when time and traffic permits, I will do some faster paste test and report back. For now, please just enjoy the pictures.
by looking at the cars you own currently, it looks like that you can easily afford exotics such as ferrari or lambos... maybe you do but you just didn't list them here.... what's the rationale for owning all these AMGs but not ferrari etc? i am just curious...

Phonetics,
To tell you the truth, I don't have a Ferrari or Lambo yet, those are toys saved for later, maybe in a couple of years I will pull the trigger, but for now, I just don't have enough lesiure time to enjoy those exotics.
Shadowskill,
I will do my best to get more interior pictures either today or tomorrow.

I've discovered in the new C that the sound system is superb, when the engine is off and you're sitting in the car, just listening to music. The bass is very rich, I even tuned it down a bit. But, when the car is moving, road noise disguises the bass and the sound isn't quite as good.

Waiting for my 10-car garage to be built, right now all cars are located in different counties in both NY & NJ, so if you want to see my collection at once, you will have to wait, but if you want pictures of just the cars alone, I think I can get them together for you.
...... u really like to show off..... !!
