Took delivery of our C63, and here's the review with pictures
It's a phenominal car, probably the sportiest C-Class I've ever owned to date. Anyway, here's my review on the suspension as most people are concern with. Ride is definitely on the firm side, it's actually the firmest suspension I've ever driven on in an MB, you will definitely have to pay attention to bumps and pot holes and go very slowly. However, it's not what you would call rough, I have 2 race cars with full suspension upgrades, and the stock suspension is very toleratble, can't say the same for AMG Performance Pack'd cars since mine is an 08. The seats are very supportive, on the sides of each seat, there are 3 buttons to adjust the side bolster, back support, and thight (sp?) support. The exhaust has a very, very raw rumble, but MB did a very good job in keeping that noise away from the cabin, so it's quite quiet inside, but not as quiet as my ML63. The wife said it's on the loud side, but it's just about right for me. I hadn't gotten the chance to really step on it, but on the way home, turning off from the main road to the side street which leads to my house, I gave it a little gas, about half throttle, and the street is a bit longer than 1/4 mile, the car went from 10MPH to 90 without sweat, but when time and traffic permits, I will do some faster paste test and report back. For now, please just enjoy the pictures.

Congrats! How is the handling compared to your TT or other sport oriented vehicles you owned?
Would you own it as a ONLY car if you had a baby too?
I guess I'll take P package of my list.
Also what is consumption like?

You lucky b%$#$&d cant wait till you really open it up, anxious to hear your take on the sport mode, then in the manual mode, how it shifts and how it how it feels on downshifts. Looks real good in your color....lucky wife, if she races my wife in her 07 530i, she will eat her up and spit her up!! Congrats, you are one of the first ones, appreciate how fast you got the pics today.

Bob,
I haven't taken delivery of the 997TT yet, as it's an 09. Because of building department's BS for Nassau County, I actually have to push the delivery date back to Jan, 09. (Current garage not big enough for my collection) I would definitely get the P030 pack if it were my car, for less than 4K, it's a worthwhile option. Fuel consumption is..... no idea, I'd only put down another 40 miles since delivery, but I would say it's probably ok if you don't have a heavy foot. Would I use this as my baby transport....hmmmm.....that depends on where you live, if you are like me who have bumpy roads around the area (schools, supermarket, day care, etc.), I would probably opt for an E63 or similar because of Airmatic Suspension, unless you are ready to clean your child seat once in a while.
Thank you for the compliments.

Thanks. I'm waiting for the arrival of my SLK55 which is supposed to be next Wednesday, and then I will take a picture of the whole AMG clan.

I'm not planning to have 2MANYCARS JR soon, but if he/she does come to the world sooner than expected, the ML63 would be the car for the job.

I wanted ML63 but Just moved to a newer house and I'm on a strict budget and C63 is the only toy I can get now... I mean the roads around Toronto is not THAT bad, and im fine with the stiffness, It's my wife and kid i worry about... I guess I'd have to test drive one. I mean she didnt complaint of E55 stiffness

Sorry Bob, while you were typing your reply, I edited the post. I overheard the conversation between Mr. Rob Allan and my dealer on the phone. That's what MB is planning to charge, for now.

Logic 7 sounds about the same as the ones I have in my others, but maybe because of the different bodies, the system in the C sounds less-rich, if you know what I mean. Seats are very very good, I used to sit in those Recaro Pole Position in one of my other cars going to and from work back in the days, and these are much better, probably better than the ones in my E55 & ML63, I just love 1-piece seats. To tell you the truth, I like the previous command better, now it's too BMW like, which I'm quite familiar with, on the MB, it's like I-Drive from gray market, have to get used to.

I know how you feel, I was in exact same shoes when I first placed the order, but it will go away in time until your dealer notifies you your car has arrived. Rev matching downshifts were perfect, I did get a chance to play with M mode on the way home, the up-shifts are a bit slower than I expected, maybe because I'm used to driving a manual on the strips. Road noise is very very minimal, because the fantastic V8 music covers it. I can't wait to take apart my intake boxes, scrap the charcoal filter, and put in the VRP filters, more engine noise, happier Asian driver. BTW, I have the exact filters installed on my ML, and I can tell the difference, great product.

hey is this the filters you are talking about ?
VRP introduces the AMG 63 (M156 engine) high flow filters. They are made from gauze by one of the leading air filter manufacturers. Filters come...$189.00
and is this a good thing 2 get also
VRP X-Pipe
$499.00
The VRP X-pipe allows for an enhanced exhaust sound without replacing the entire AMG exhaust system. The X-pipe does not cause any drone or excess noise in the cabin, but can be heard on upshifts and downshifts and hard acceleration.

Waiting for my 10-car garage to be built, right now all cars are located in different counties in both NY & NJ, so if you want to see my collection at once, you will have to wait, but if you want pictures of just the cars alone, I think I can get them together for you.
