Took delivery of our C63, and here's the review with pictures
For now, please just enjoy the pictures.
Would you own it as a ONLY car if you had a baby too?
I guess I'll take P package of my list.
Also what is consumption like?

Bob,
I haven't taken delivery of the 997TT yet, as it's an 09. Because of building department's BS for Nassau County, I actually have to push the delivery date back to Jan, 09. (Current garage not big enough for my collection) I would definitely get the P030 pack if it were my car, for less than 4K, it's a worthwhile option.
Fuel consumption is..... no idea, I'd only put down another 40 miles since delivery, but I would say it's probably ok if you don't have a heavy foot. Would I use this as my baby transport....hmmmm.....that depends on where you live, if you are like me who have bumpy roads around the area (schools, supermarket, day care, etc.), I would probably opt for an E63 or similar because of Airmatic Suspension, unless you are ready to clean your child seat once in a while.
Thank you for the compliments.

I'm not planning to have 2MANYCARS JR soon, but if he/she does come to the world sooner than expected, the ML63 would be the car for the job.
I wanted ML63 but Just moved to a newer house and I'm on a strict budget and C63 is the only toy I can get now... I mean the roads around Toronto is not THAT bad, and im fine with the stiffness, It's my wife and kid i worry about... I guess I'd have to test drive one. I mean she didnt complaint of E55 stiffness

Rev matching downshifts were perfect, I did get a chance to play with M mode on the way home, the up-shifts are a bit slower than I expected, maybe because I'm used to driving a manual on the strips. Road noise is very very minimal, because the fantastic V8 music covers it. I can't wait to take apart my intake boxes, scrap the charcoal filter, and put in the VRP filters, more engine noise, happier Asian driver.
BTW, I have the exact filters installed on my ML, and I can tell the difference, great product.
VRP introduces the AMG 63 (M156 engine) high flow filters. They are made from gauze by one of the leading air filter manufacturers. Filters come...$189.00
and is this a good thing 2 get also
VRP X-Pipe
$499.00
The VRP X-pipe allows for an enhanced exhaust sound without replacing the entire AMG exhaust system. The X-pipe does not cause any drone or excess noise in the cabin, but can be heard on upshifts and downshifts and hard acceleration.

I haven't checked underneath the car for a resonator yet, but if it's there, I will tell you to get that. Me on the other hand can not, because it's my wife's car....
