IMHO, Mercedes has an edge on BMW when it comes to more classy/elegant neutral colors - Iridium Silver, Palladium Silver, Steel Gray/Grey, etc.
BMW's Silverstone is tolerable but I wish they offered Glacier Silver for the M models.

I had a E90 M3 V8 in original Interlagos Blue Metallic, its was the nicest blue car in the South Bay area LA Redondo-Hermosa Beach-Manhattan Beach.. The Lunar Blue Metallic looks almost exactly the same, only packing more.. The Sand interior is also rare, black int is everywhere, sand on blue is the best color combo I have seen, I had to have it.

totally agree with BMW boy racer crayola paint pen colors, a guy 2 blocks away just got a puke chrome yellow M3 (disgusting, I will have to thrash him) Ive seen the new baby blue M3, looks like my boys nursery walls, kid colors are horrible.. either way, flat/matte/satin/pearl/wraps are popular, needed something other than white or black (Mrs has a black RR Sport it always looks dirty), white with black accents looks good, but I cannot find another Blue Metallic w/wo P31 in the entire US.. metallic blue looks almost black at night, candyapple blue metal flake in full sunlight.. its a magic blue, im a big fan Red C63BS, like Ducati Red... Yellow is so 80's..

Cant wait to get my P31 back from Royal Paintshop this week.. Joe is working hard on new Lunar Blue Metallic front bar, new headlights, hood, roof, lenses, clear film, and running OE Tuning 535 Stage 1 w/ ROW boxes w/ AFE PRO S & new Michelin Pilot Super Sports tread on a P31 AMG Development Package AMG Designo Lunar Blue in Texas... only 1 in the US. gettin it back this wkend time to party who runs a C63 in Houston-Dallas-Austin-San Anton hit me up i know some sick back roads to test your tunes Im looking for a race

I really like the blacked out look on his car, he is also having the wheels painted black, and he is still waiting on his DTM cf rear diffuser to come in.
Im planning on keeping the stock look for now for me, putting my funds and efforts in performance. When someone rolls up next to me at a light they will think 451 hp! haha. Then they will hear the sound of a 6.2 through long tube headers
