here are some crappy iphone pics, the only ones i have at the moment!
With the drop, I have about half an inch between tire and the inner fender. I feel like if I went to the max drop with the coilovers it would still clear the tires

those 275's look perfect. it looks like it could be a teeeenyyy bit wider to successfully fill the quart panel space, but still looks good.
so what is the technical downside to runnig 275's on a 9'' rim? (that seems to be the consesus)

Feels like the fit is real close and tight with my drop I wouldn't go any wider! After reading many posts seems like the downside would be surface area. I have 275s on my S65 but it a much wider rim and 19" so it looks much wider on it.. The michelin pss hook like crazy though!

In a straight line, traction is better (especially with a LSD). If you go too wide, however, you lose some crispness/stability/balance in the corners.
For track (i.e., circuits, not the strip) driving, 265 is the widest I go in the rear. I make up for the lack of width by choosing a stickier compound (i.e., Cup tires).

Nice to see u hanging around Dome! Ur car is so sick with the multispoke & spacers along with all the facelift parts.. Subtle mods that makes a huge difference!
