MKB Power 63/8 upgrade for C63
Saw a full page advert in Mercedes Enthusiast magazine today for a German tuning company called MKB. They offer an upgrade called the MKB 63/8 which is available for all AMG cars with the 6.2 V8. They claim 567 PS (559 Bhp) and 673 Nm of torque after the upgrade, which is fitment of a high flow manifold and an ECU tune. Are these figures feasable given the modest modification and does anyone know anything about this company.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Tuning Company in the UK prices for C63![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Hi Alex
Thanks for that. The very latest 2008 models use a different ecu and we are experiencing problems with it but this one should be fine. The retail on the cars is C63 £1250+vat and C320CDI £850+vat.
To you the cost would be C63 £950+vat per car
and the C320 CDI £650+vat.

Hi Dieselydoes it,
Sorry for being thick, but I don't understand your post #6. Are you quoting a reply from MKB to a query you made? What costs £1250+VAT for the C63?
Regards.

Dieselydoes it,
I'm from the UK so unfortunately know what VAT is! I just wondered who'd quoted you £1250+VAT for the C63 and what they were quoting you for.
Cheers.

As listed in my sign
I tried them b4, they are one of the best companies out there, they did three cars for me and my brother and we are happy with the results.
If they said anything they are a standup company not one of those who said what they can't do it.

Insane. The price is great also. 3k for 100 HP. Too bad you have to have it installed at an authorized shop. Probably not going to see that in the US.
Maybe Renntech or Kleemann can come up with something similar.

Spoke with MKB in the US and the claim 521hp from an ECU flash alone. the price? Wait for it..... quoted as $6,594. Compare that to 974AGK's quote from the UK of 950GBP+VAT which ~=$2,000.
Price aside, any thoughts of MKB's product? 521hp from an ECU flash alone is an attractive proposition..
