This is for all the lucky guys out there that have already picked up their new baby. Does anyone have any regrets or complaints about anything on the car so far or do you have a HUGE smile every time you get into her.

Big smiles

3 small gripes , no keyless go & remote boot closing + rear back tyres very skinny although this can be changed no problem.
Other than that i have nothing but praise for the car , my neighbour has an RS4 , surprise , surprise he doent wave anymore, the other neighbour in the next street doesnt rev his Jan 2008 new Style M3 anymore

Sounds like a fun neighborhood! And it's always great to have the baddest car on the block

I'm interested in what you choose if you add width to the rear wheels / tires. I share the concern about so much power through wheels and tires that struggle in my current 360hp/lb ft car, never mind something in the mid 400's. Wider looks cooler too

Just look out for your (B7?) RS4-toting neighbor following you out of your driveway if it's rainy weather.

Glad you like your new car. Strange AMG do that with the rear rubber though. Chuck some 285s on the back and you'll be good to go.

e63pwr, how does power/torque feel compared to your srt-8?

Unsure if this will be wise move I have always on every Mercedes put on winter rubber & find the car as good if not better in snow/ice than an ML we have in the company. Depth of snow permitting of course, but traction control light hardly comes on in my old cars. Do think I'd get away with winter on the C63? Or am I just 100%

Cheers

The SRT8 definitely has more torque. Although both vehicles are similar in 0-60 sprints, the Jeeps will plant you hard back in the seat, mainly due to the AWD. The C63 from a roll 50 - 120 feels incredible and would destroy my SRT8 Jeep as it runs decent at those speeds but you just can't defeat physics!

No push button start, no extra sun visor (so you can have one in front and one on the side), no keyless entry and my major problem is i have an oil leak for the 3rd time...1st they fixed it, 2nd they said my oil pan is deformed (factory defect, waited for 4 days coz they ordered the part in Germany) so they fixed it again. 3rd oil leak again, but 3 droplets every other day or so.just lazy to schedule for an appointment.Just a hassle going back and forth to the servise dept. Ill give it one more try after that ill complain .

Are you sure e63pwr?

My good friend had a SRT8 Jeep and I pulled on him every time with my C55, from a roll. I understand the Jeep is AWD but if you get a good launch with the C63 you should be able to beat it to 60, no?

The only regret i have is that this car came in my possession without the "break in" period completed, i wish this car came "broken in" right from AMG so when you leave the dealership you could just honk on it...my regrets is that i havent found the time to pile on the miles so i can reach that majic number where all hell and its fury will break loose. I am about halfway there.

No regrets, this is the best car overall I have ever owned. It does everything. It's fast, it's comfortable, it handles very well, it has all the toys, it's solid and it's beautiful. Oh yeah and it sounds INCREDIBLE.

I wish the gas tank was a little bigger for better range, as I have a long commute (approx 100 mi R/T) and if I would want to drive the C63 every day I'd have to fill up 3 times a week

Lots of glare from top of the windshield due to rake angle.
It needs a tint strip of some sort for the top 8 inches.

Gas tank is miniscule and trips Reserve Warning with 3 gallons left so 14 gallons and you are on reserve.

Voice Comand is best I have ever encountered

I can even use Skype via my phone through the Comand System. Amazing!

And I've pulled on an SRT-8 a few times as well, but a C63 got the jump on me and I couldn't reel him back in...
