2015 BMW M3 White/Black
Anyone looking for a quick C63 delivery.
In the negotiating process of my 2009 C63, I came across several available cars. A 2008 Steel Gray/Black with 700 miles and 2008 Iridium Silver/black being built May 30th, early July delivery.
Anyone looking? If so, send me a PM.

Delivery in late July on an 2009
No. The Steel Gray is available now, but the 2008 Iridium Silver is a May 30th build. Both of these are available in NY. After having that dealer trying to get cars of my color choice several times but always having the swap deals fall through (easily 6-7 times), I ended up just calling the largest Boston M-B dealer (3 M-B stores and also 1 of only 27 authorized AMG Stores). They get 3-4x the AMG allocation of a normal Benz dealership.
The Boston Dealer is the place where the salesman let me drive his own C63 and was willing to bounce another repeat AMG customer back a few weeks and give me his slot. The other guy has something like 4-5 AMG cars and is not in a huge rush to get his due to garaging constraints at his Ritz Condo. I took the deal for a loaded '09 in Palladium Silver/Blk, but not with the performance pack. I want the LSD but not the stiffer suspension, nor Carbon Fiber.
The craziest thing is I would have gotten my M3 a few weeks earlier.![smash](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smashfreak.gif)
However, in retrospect, I like the fact that the C63 will be far less common on the roads, and the 4 doors offer a bit more practicality with my kids and Schnoodle.
Although, I must admit that I am pretty bummed about not having the same variety of aftermarket enhancements available as for the M3. Even though Stock is powerful sounding, the first thing I will change is to an aftermarket exhaust (if and when available) to smooth out the exhaust tone. It is a little too uneven and poppy sounding for me...kind of like a modified mustang. Really looking to achieve more of an Aston Martin sound. I may change my mind with more seat time and once the stock exhaust burns in. The one I drove only had 352 miles on it, so not even broken-in yet.
Other than that, I am pretty cool with the C63...just will lose a ton of sleep over the 10 week wait.

I like the car. Just thinking about getting another Porsche 911 turbo. Had one for few months and sold it at a weak moment. After driving the C63 I remembered how much I like the power of the turbo.

C63 AMG
Here's what I'd do in your shoes. Find a dealer that doesn't have anyone on their preorder list. Ask for the build date for the C63s on their future allotment. Then ask if you could put down a deposit, and most importantly, if you could substitute your specs for what's already listed on the car in the pipeline. I essentially what I did. That's what they did for me. You can still buy your car elsewheres and cancel the deposit, if you find an acceptable car sooner.
Good luck. ..from another P-car refugee.
