AMG
dont forget C63 is DE-tuned... and can be unlocked to a full 525hp with minor mods and that is still considered "unstressed" for 6.3 engine as per AMG i belive... The potential of this engine is 580 hp.

Go buy m3...

Are you referring to a larger air intake from other AMG models & maybe a free-flow exhaust? Or does it involve new EUC?

Car Whore
not a new ecu, just a re-tune of the ecu (simple) for it to match the same config as the bigger brothers (E63, SL63, CLS63, etc...)

Guys ... who should I contact for a reflash? If you guys can give me a list of reputable tuners/companies, so I can check if they have a distributor here in SP.

I'm 6'7'' i fit, i love the car, it has great steering responses, tranny is great...its great all around, plus it'll blow the doors off your Z

That and it really gets to be uncomfortable on long drives. So since my sister recently got a new 07 cls550 and absolutely loves it, I am thinking about stepping up to a somewhat sporty german V8 to replace my Z. Now what I narrowed it down to is the E92 M3, S5, and C63 amg, and the more I research these cars the more I like the C63.

Probably the reason why is because I know how incredibly comfortable and powerful Mercedes can be from driving my dads S500 around, yet the thing that always kept me away from them has always been their lack of responsive steering and road feel. However this new C63 seems to be the first Mercedes in a long time where you can actually feel the road.

So basically what I am wondering is how comfortable these are for long california highway driving, and how much I might enjoy driving this car coming from a sporty, responsive 350Z. I am basically looking for a more practical car that isn't too large, that has 400+HP, and features sporty responsive steering.

2015 BMW M3 White/Black
Agreed. The Lexus is very cheesey! Just one look at the tailpipes is worth a thousand words. However, the wheels are fabulous.

I too love the M3, and had one on order, until I saw a C63 in person. I started looking at the C63 because I was sick of waiting for my M3 (still 3 months out). The ironic thing is that my C63 is due a week later, but it is definitely worth the wait. Very unusual, unlike the M3, also more substantial looking. They (RS4, M3, C63, IS-F) are great cars, but my preference is the C63, and if you give it a chance, I suspect it will be yours as well.

Last anecdote: I was answering a thread on M3Post Forum about the C63, and all of a sudden people started coming out of the woodwork..."I dropped my M3 order for a C63, etc." It got so bad that people suggested that we leave the Forum, or at the very least start our own sub-forum! ;-))))

Merc power
You got the money why not. Test drive it you'll love it.

from a 350z < C63 AMG that is a huge difference, assume your dad would be buying the car for you.

actually, I will be paying for the difference after selling my Z... but at least I only paid 5k for the Z (difference after selling my first car that was bought for me). I am guessing that I will end up paying about 40k for the car.

A lot of money, but the engine under the hood of the C63 just looks too good to pass up. I mean the power this beast produces stock far surpasses what I could make with somewhat reliable turbo setup on my Z, let alone how much more practical it is...

so hows the availability on these things

A3 2.0t, CLS 55 AMG
The answer is easy: C63.

I'm an Audi fan, but the S5 is really in a lower league here. It's more GT than sport.

As for the M3, I prefer not having to rev the bollucks out of my engine to get moving quickly; I rather the flexibility of the Merc V8.

I spent all day about three weeks ago at the Auto Bahn in the new IS-F. What a slug? Great trans (8 speed) but thats about all I can rave about. My C32 modded will run with it. Handles like an LS, sucks gas like a GX and looks like an IS. wE GOT TO wring it out. For the $$ , the C63 with the PP smokes it

Just out of curiosity, does anyone actually have back seat passengers in a C63 on a regular basis? How tight is it back there?

I think I might go to Brabus just to be on the safe side.
