when the price is released, and i get the conrtact from the BANK....i will , post it here...have my lawyer read it over.....and the go thru with it if its kosher
So what if it's not a bank, the leasing company is still a financing institution. Or are you saying this guy is merely a broker and nothing else?

No signature, no stationary, written like it's by a 10yr old. Hey, if that's what makes you comfortable, go for it

so again, im not in the auto business, im actually a stock broker, but if i can pass along good lease details....and in the meantime get some $$ taken off of my payments for referrals...im all for it!
Aaah, so that's what this is all about

Aaah, so that's what this is all about

i take it 1985 is the year u where born

A BANK LEASES YOU THE CAR!!!!! not the dealer!!!!!

so yes, the REAL contract will be from a BANK
and will be alot more intricate than that!!

again, that is what i got in writing so that i can send them a deposit

YES I AM COMFORTABLE AND WILLING TO RISK $1000 IN ORDER TO GET THIS DEAL ON THIS CAR

if you want to work with an MB DEALER who knows NOTHING about NOTHING, thats up to you

and by the way.....if you get this car thru a local benz dealer

the CONTRACT will be from MB FINANCIAL (a bank!!!!) and not your dealer!

Ok, why are we talking about dealers now? I asked if your "friend" was a broker, but somehow you couldn't comprehend that question.

Or are you the kind of "stockbroker" who doesn't know the difference between a dealer and a broker?

People,

If you suspect this is a bad deal...don't do it!! No reason to give Last Emperor such a hard time. We are lucky to have folks share their deals and experiences. Why would you want to discourage that? That is the only way we can compare and find what is the best scenario for each of us. All it takes is a little research and forums like this one where people share information can only be beneficial.

I don't disagree.

If you suspect this is a bad deal...don't do it!! No reason to give Last Emperor such a hard time.
The MBW community can benefit as well as protect its members. As the W211 scam and many other threads show, members have a responsibility to speak up, and the failure to do so hurts other people.

More specifically, there is no reason for Last Emperor to feel he is being given a hard time, to be personally offended, or to lash out at members asking questions. The deal is under scrutiny here

As many others have asked about the residual, it is a legitimate question (and LE should be prepared to answer these questions without being offended). Not only is it impossible to calc a lease payment number without a residual, but leases are highly sensitive to residual changes. A 5% change in residual can change a lease payment by 10-15% (and over 24-36 months, that starts to add up).

So, generally speaking, just as people can benefit the community by posting good deals, people should also ask the critical questions, and thereby protect it from the bad ones.

I spoke with Andy yesterday and he said he'd call me at 9:00ET sharp this morning. No phone call. Then I get an e-mail almost an hour ago from him saying that I should call him to discuss leasing details. So I wrote back and said I'm available and for him to call me.....haven't heard a thing.

I will post any further developments.... good or not.

That's one "good" thing about buying from a dealer...they are available when u want them, or don't.

Still haven't heard anything.

Residuals are based not only on Model Year and month of the year but also on expected mileage and each bank determines them differently...

Haven't heard a peep from directlease. Shaky, in MY opinion. Can't convince me he's too busy to make a follow up phone call, but had time to send me a very very short e-mail asking me to call him.

I smell something........

(if i posted something against the rules, please let me know)

I just got a very good lease, and want to share it with my friends who are looking to get this car.

Here is what i ordered:

2009 C63 AMG
-White exterior
-Black interior
-AMG Leather Package
-P2 Premium 2 Package
-Multimedia Package
-AMG Performance Package
-Ipod Integration
-Carbon Fiber Interior
-TeleAid
-AMG Illuminated Door Sills
-Benz Wheel Coverage (still waiting on an answer for this, not 100%)

Here is my deal:

-$2,500 TOTAL out of pocket

-Taxes IN the payment

-24 month lease
(its a multi-term lease which means you can keep the car for 24-60 months...BUT you can give it back on the 24th month with no stipulations what so ever)

-15,000 miles per year

-UNDER $1,000 PER MONTH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been doing lots of research, no one has come even close to this deal or this price...

He said I will have the car before August 15th...
On Monday, I will know exactly which MB dealership he got the car from and the exact build date of my new car.

**He also told me that if I can get him referrals, he will take care of me!!**

so if anyone is interested, PM me for details and I will give you his contact info

I'm a little hesitant to put them up here because I'm sure he'll get like a hundred phone calls instantly

alltho he did say that he dosnt mind the phone calls

BTW, this is not a ma & pa leasing company..
Its one of the larger ones in the country with offices in CA. PA. FL. & CT.

anyways I'm super excited! I finally pulled the trigger!!!!

i know all of you guys who have been getting 3 year quotes @ 1200-1300 with taxes up front should be super excited for this deal too!!

The one thing he did tell me tho....when i said "my friends at MBWORLD will take 10 of these C63's for that price" He wasnt 100% sure that he can get 10 of them. But we'll see
How is this kind of lease work?
so u mean u have signed a 60months lease contract, and u say u can return the car after 24months if u want to with no additional fees right?
for example, usually with $0 down payment and same interest rate, the monthly payment for 60 months term will be alot more cheaper than 24 months, so u r even enjoying the cheapest monthly rate and u can return it after 24months?

its called a multi-term lease, and from what i understand thats more or less how it works

more info can be found on www.directleaseamerica.com

im still waiting to recieve the actual lease contract (from the bank) so i can see EVERY detail, and post it here....

but i did ask repeatedly if there is any fee, penalty, or charge from either the leasing company, lender, or bank if i want to terminate after 24 months

supposedly there is none!

again, i gotta wait to read the "small print" on the contract to make sure

i'll PM you the contact info so you can call my guy and find out all the details if you want

He sent me another e-mail to call him "ASAP". I responded by saying that I'm still waiting for his call he promised days ago. And I gave him my phone # again in case he lost it.

Haven't heard anything...been almost an hour now. ?ASAP , why?

He's too busy apparently.

sorry dude, i'll try calling him and asking him to call you direct

would you mind PMing me ur contact info?

also, i think he checks his email only once a day

one downside in working with him is that he is a bit sloppy in regards to calling on time and stuff like that

not as on point as i would like him to be

especially since lots of members on here showed major interest..

when we spoke today, i told him that i posted his info on here, and told him it works sort of like a feedback system

i said if he dosnt call the initial group of ppl back right away, it will lead to negative feedback and less referrals......so i dunno :-(

Leave it be.

Dave.... thanks for the offer though.
