**MY C63 LEASE**
First off, Mods i am in no way affiliated with this dealer...
(if i posted something against the rules, please let me know)
I just got a very good lease, and want to share it with my friends who are looking to get this car.
Here is what i ordered:
2009 C63 AMG
-White exterior
-Black interior
-AMG Leather Package
-P2 Premium 2 Package
-Multimedia Package
-AMG Performance Package
-Ipod Integration
-Carbon Fiber Interior
-TeleAid
-AMG Illuminated Door Sills
-Benz Wheel Coverage (still waiting on an answer for this, not 100%)
Here is my deal:
-$2,500 TOTAL out of pocket
-Taxes IN the payment
-24 month lease
(its a multi-term lease which means you can keep the car for 24-60 months...BUT you can give it back on the 24th month with no stipulations what so ever)
-15,000 miles per year
-UNDER $1,000 PER MONTH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been doing lots of research, no one has come even close to this deal or this price...
He said I will have the car before August 15th...
On Monday, I will know exactly which MB dealership he got the car from and the exact build date of my new car.
**He also told me that if I can get him referrals, he will take care of me!!**
so if anyone is interested, PM me for details and I will give you his contact info
I'm a little hesitant to put them up here because I'm sure he'll get like a hundred phone calls instantly
alltho he did say that he dosnt mind the phone calls
BTW, this is not a ma & pa leasing company..
Its one of the larger ones in the country with offices in CA. PA. FL. & CT.
anyways I'm super excited! I finally pulled the trigger!!!!
i know all of you guys who have been getting 3 year quotes @ 1200-1300 with taxes up front should be super excited for this deal too!!
The one thing he did tell me tho....when i said "my friends at MBWORLD will take 10 of these C63's for that price" He wasnt 100% sure that he can get 10 of them. But we'll see

so in this multi-term lease, you are leasing the car for 60 months but you can return after 24 months and just walk away?? I've heard that on this type of lease the dealer will TRY to sell the car for you, but if they can't you are still obligated to keep making the payment up to 60 months.......i could be wrong

PS: the way i built the car we're looking at a price of around 71k
we came to that # buy taking a fully loaded '08 and adding...
Performance Package: $3,900 ESTIMATED
Carbon FIber: $1,200-$2,000 ESTIMATED
AMG Illuminated Door Sills $1,000 ESTIMATED
And Wheel coverage $1,000 ESTIMATED
so we're looking at roughly 71k
we also took into consideration that the car might be anywhere from 1-3% more on MSRP
he also mention the the Risidual # will be better because its an 09 as opposed to an 08

whether they sell it or not has nothing to do with me
the only catch is:
i have to give them 60 days notice of when im giving the car back
so if i want out at the 24th month....i have to notify them on the 22nd

Sounds way to good to be true. I would have to see something in righting. If they are coming up with this price at a sticker over $70000 than if the sticker was only $64000 like most of the 08's it would be even less.

OBVIOUSLY you need something in writing
I'm no sucker, and would not lay out a dollar with out anything in writing
the contract says:
If they dont get me the exact car with the exact specs BEFORE AUG 15th my deposit is FULLY REFUNDABLE!!!
Also, he told me there can be a 10-30 dollar variable in price depending on what MSRP benz gives the 09s

That sounds like a sweet deal if you can get it. I have never leased a car before so I do not know all the details how the leases work. I like to walk in wright a check and be done with it. That way it is mine. I have though about leasing my car when it comes in but with the way the stocks are going I am not sure I would want to invest the money in other things. I know buying a new car is not a good investment either but at least I will own it.

a 24 month lease at 1000 a month = 24k plus $2500 upfront
so that gives you $26,500
if you buy a 09 at 70k and sell it two years later will you lose more than 26k
i think yes
so in this case its better to lease
but also depends on how much driving u do

Alot of cars
A major concern you should have in dealing with this broker/leasing company:
You will be signing an official 60 month lease with a bank (most likely USBank), that will be your official legal contract. Because they stretched out your lease to 60 months, that is why your payment is lower than all 24-48 month leases. I understand the leasing company promised you in writing regarding exiting the lease prior to 60 months, but that is their own company promise, NOT the official contract bank's promise. Your leasing company is basically counting on a continued strong C63 market at 24 months or whenever the time you want to exit out of your lease so when they take the car out of your hands to either put it up for lease assumption to another leaser or wholesale the car. Problem can arise if you don't keep your car in prestine condition, or if you damage your car and not repair it in perfect condtion, or if the C63 market plummets, or among other things that will affect your car's resale value. One last thing, if your leasing company goes out of business before you want to exit your lease, you are only bind by your official 60 month lease contract with the bank.
Good luck hope everything works out.

i just called the guy back and he read the bank contract to me as well
it stated something along the lines of them being responsible for it after 24 months
anyways, when i get it i will have my lawyer read it and double check
but it sounds kosher to me

This isn't an option to buy after 24 months is it? From what you are describing it sounds like you have the option of buying the car after 24 months. Not walking away, please be careful.

I notice there's a lot of people leasing their C63s. Why? Do they plan to dump it in a few years? Are lease rates that good where it works out to be less than a purchase?
