Raced a C63 with my Z06
#51
Maybe I could make it till August, I think that I could fit it somewhere into my schedule. Where do you live?
Sometimes I'm in the US for business reasons.
I want to import a 2009 Corvette ZR-1, but I'm still trying to get one, which can be delivered this summer.

I'm in New York. I'm not sure if I will have my Z06 by then...either way, I'd love to checkout your Horse Power Record Breaking C63. Would you mind sharing details on how you got so much hp out of the car?

I have been to Väth. I'm not sure how the specific parts of the engine are called in english, but I'll try to find it out.

All I can say right now is that they changed the camshafts, the whole airintake and the manifold. The ECU was reprogrammed, but this is clear I think.

Really starting to seem that way so far. I haven't happened upon any C63's on the highway yet but I don't expect the exchanges to be nearly as civilized and respectful as my encounters with the bigger AMG's. I expect a lot of taunting and weaving through heavy traffic, and then some misguided posting on the web about "I rex0red an M5, WOOOOT!!!!"
Hell I need my space to race man. I went at it with a C6 Vette the other day in what I considered light traffic and still had to jack on the brakes at 150mph. He had to learn a little respect when cutting off a faster car.

This is all very true. Entry level cars always seem to attract too many of the wrong crowd. There will be plenty of knowledgeable C63 drivers, as there are E46 M3 drivers, but these will be dwarfed by the sheer number of cap-wearing retards. You'll hear Busta Rhymes before you hear the friggin engine.

I did. Clarkson has unparalleled delivery. The E46 M3 is hands down a superior car to the B6/B7 S4 in all departments. When faced with the choice a few years back, I bought the Audi. Wonder why...

I'm afraid of the same thing happening when the GTR is released, and that's really what I want for my next car. I've always coveted the GTR and now is my chance to get one.

But I really need to wait for the hype to die down before I can place an order. The markup and lack of availability is the real killer. I also want to wait and see what the V-spec has to offer. I have a feeling I'll grab one 2 years down the road.

Pictures of your car, it's engine, and some documentation that this company really does what you say it does. People just had their C63's delivered, I find it hard to believe that a tuning company had time enough to turn a head/cam package around that quick.

There are tuning packages since 2 month, even Brabus has some that gives the C63 more then 550hp, I can post some pictures tomorrow, no problem!
And the engine isn't that new it's similar to the e63 or clk63, the biggest differece is the air intake system.
You don't know much about german tuners, do you?

Once again&in typical CylinderHead fashion he hit the nail squarely on the head;his proclamation of the C63 as "Fisher Price My First AMG" will go down in history.
Sad but oh so true

Ok, so out of the 3 C63's I've seen in Westchester, all 3 of them were guidos. That's the last image I want to present to business men, ladies, and my family. Fuggedaboutit
