Why would you say that ? the c63 has run 12.30's out of the box under normal weather conditions. I don't see how the m5 is so superior, maybe it's just me.

Bear with me for a sec,I'll explain....
As of right now&as far as I know, nobody has any solid dragstrip runs with legitimate timeslips.Again,as far as I know all the 1/4mi times have been done by magazines(some even using Racelogic type devices)and personally I need to see hard #'s from everyday people;guys like us who actually drag race regularly before I will eliminate doubt from my mind.

That being said,I've seen more then a few M5/M6's(stock) run low 12's and trap 116-118+mph with a skilled driver.I've also witnessed how amazingly quick they are from a highway roll at speed. If you need a modded 55 to pull on a stock M5/M6 I just don't see how a stock C63 will pull it when a stock(or modded)E/CLS 63 can't pull it.I saw CylinderHeads stock M5 walk Sunny55's pretty decently modded SL55 from a 70+mph roll with no problems whatsoever.

Thats what I based my post on.I'd love to see AMG power prevail over M power but in this case I just don't see it.Only time will tell I suppose

Sorry man but that isn't the case. Less than 100lbs. Plus the wider track, longer wheelbase and tighter transmission of the M5.

M5 is 1830kg and that's wet weight (fuel, oil, driver and luggage).

M3 vs M3 CSL weight reduction was more of an achievement as the C63 is a smaller car than the M5 with less shoulder room, less headroom, less passenger legroom and a smaller trunk.

Anyway, the C63 competes with the M3 so I still don't get all the commotion.

hahha. CAN"T WAIT till THe KW"S GET IN!!! I'll show you guys all the pictures too just in case someone wan't to do a valuable mod that the C 63 needs! I'll be one of the first ones in the US suposedly. I think the C63 versions will be different but in any case pictures will still be valuable.

BTW straighline suckzzzzz, all about handles baby~.

I'm one to talk I have heavy *** dubs!! lol.

I'm in the market for some 63 rims to use as spare rims or track rims if anyone here is getting aftermarkets.

Anyways I like the c63 It sucks becuase my lease paymet is $769, for $1000 i could have one but I'm already seriously upside down so I'll just wait till the old lease is up. I heard they are coming out with a coup.

But yeah Euro styles you arent by chance the guy with the black VATH C63 with the front lip and the fatty rear Carbon Fiber Difuser that is on you tube are you?
Dieses Auto ist sehr nett

Because you won't beleave me, but I'm wondered how you should tell about my engine, because all you can see is the plastic.
But it finally looks like someone found out, that Vaeth is doing, what I tryed to tell you.
When I was at Vaeth they didn't had an engine-plastic-housing (or how it's called in english) which will fit on the C63, because my car was one of the first 3 C63 they tuned, and this is why you can't find any picture of this on the internet.
But I'm sure they will this plastic-housing within the next weeks.

I don't think that I will come back here, so have a nice day.
