I am deciding on black, but what does obsidian black look like? Can someone post pics of both? Thanks...

I've seen OB Black on other MB cars and plain Black is a deeper color. The OB black is a metalic black, its Not eye popping like plain black.

And as I stated many times on this forum, Black does Not show up well on a PC display. You need to see it in person. Other colors ie; like white, silver, steel grey show up much better. Even high resolution TV's as in LCD's plasma also have problems displaying a Deep Black colors unless its a very high end TV. Just my 2 sense,,,

Agree. Gotta go to the dealer and see the 2 side by side.

I happened to look at the 2 colors side by side on a bright sunny day - black v OB black. My apologies to ppl that like OB black in advance, but when I first saw OB black I thought the car wasn't clean like it had a light layer of dust on it.

The dealer told me the OB black doesn't show dirt as much, makes sense.

Exactly, OB black looks dirty so you have a choice to buy a non OB black and keep it clean or just leave it dirty and you'll have OB black...best of both worlds...lol

I've got obsidian black on my c63. I have to say it looks awesome, but then I haven't compared it with regular black.

Everyone who sees it likes the metallic look under the black

But now it's a bit dirty, I guess you can't tell the difference.

The truth is, the C63 is awesome no matter the colour. You can't go wrong!
