Ordered one too... & news re: C 63 AMG
Well, guess I''ll be posting here pretty often (at least viewing and commenting!) It's great to be part of the owner's group here in this forum. It's my first AMG (my 3rd C-Class)!
Long story short, I ordered a sedan in June production. Model year is '09.
Just learned today that due to increasing demand/popularity of both the sedan and the wagon, increase in production capacity won't be possible until Jan '09! Wow! Such hasn't happened that often for a MB.
btw, my sedan is a calcite white w/black nappa interior fully loaded except for the keyless-go, performance pack., drivers pack., carbon fibre trim. I did order the 19" multispoke alloy wheels.
I already have a W204 C 220 CDI Avantgarde, so I decided to equip the active bi-xenon and the PRESAFE too. Rear airbag... oops! can't remember! I should better check it out. It's definitely going to be a heavy car!

hhmm i wonder if the supply/demmand issue u mentioned is for asia or world wide

Congrats on your order.
Arctic White (code 650) in the US is called Calcit White in most other markets. I learned this when I purchased a touch up paint stick for my 07 which is called Calcit White, code 650, and it matches my car perfectly.
Whatever they call it, white looks awesome on the C63!

My dealership in Brisbane had 18 total (I think) for 2008 delivery. My order went in two months ago for a Nov/Dec delivery. Yes, demand is much higher than supply everywhere at the moment.

it would be great if C63 would be very limited cars... I'm sick of seeing so many m3's

What I like!
I see a lot more M3's than I do C32's and C55's around here.... Hardly ever see the C-class AMG's in SoCal. I hope they limit US production... the economy sucks here, you know...

Oh, it's a world thing. The C 63 turns out to be a real success story for AMG already. Unlike the M3, or like the old M3's, the C-Class AMG with its 63 is seeing light for the very first time.
