Pop-Up Screen Without Multimedia Package
I searched around and could not confirm this. Do cars without the multimedia package come with the pop-up screen? I read somewhere that you get a 5" screen (standard) rather than the larger 7" screen that comes with the Multimedia package. Does this apply to all C Class including the C63?
Sorry if this was discussed on another thread. Does anyone have pics of the interior without the multimedia package?
Thanks in advance!

I've wanted to know this myself. I looked at the regular c-class brochure and found out that the 5" screen is a flip-up (I assume manuallyoperated) color screen. The multimedia pkg has a 7" color screen and it pops-up via an electric motor. I hope this helps.

The 5" screen has a cover that flips up manually. The screen itself is fixed. I am glad I didn't get the multi-media because I have been seeing complaints of strange noises coming from the display motorization. I just thought it was something else to break over time.

i saw a stock C63 without the multimedia
IMHO it looked hideous!!!!!
you get the same plastic pop up cover from the multimedia option
but when it opens, you have this empty space (where i guess the pop up would go)
and then at the rear wall of this empty space you get a fixed supersmall screen
again, IMHO it looked really really cheap and bad
i would not even consider getting this car with out the media package
if not for function, for sheer looks alone
the pop up give the interior a nice look
with out it the car looks really cheap and un-benz like

If I were in the market for the C63 I would definitely opt for the Multi Media and every other option available. Its different when purchasing a $37K to drive 5 miles a day to work. I say Go For It

Thanks for the info, I guess I have to go to the dealer to check out the regular C class photo. I cannot believe no one here has the standrad screen. I personally can not justifiy the $3000+ for the nav.
