'09 C63 Performance Package - Steel Grey/Sahara Biege
My buddy with a z06 has this really cool software that allows him to plug his laptop into his car, take it for a spin and it plays EVERYTHING back to him, throttle position, rpm, speed, fuel and spark curve, and dozens of others and lets him modify any parameter he wants.
Anyone think there's some software like this available for us? Then we'd just need to understand the tuning adjustments (view settings on an already tuned car) and make the adjustments ourselves. (I hope our tuners friends aren't pissed at this message...) More importantly, as we make more adjustments to our car (intake/exhaust) we could always re-tune the ECU in lock step.

I was trying to understand this as well. I have an SVT cobra and my custom tune was only a fraction of the cost and it included dyno time as well.
The only thing that makes sense to me as to why these tunes are more expensive is the fact the market for them is so small, but 3500 is way out there.

The prices are absolutely ridiculous for AMG tuner parts. I would never spend $7,000 on a set of long tube headers for my E63,let alone $3500 for an ECU that will give you NO noticeable improvements at the dragstrip,nor will I spend $3500 for a set of RennTech mufflers.
JRCart spent ALOT ALOT ALOT of money on his CLK63 to get 70 more rwhp.It was easily the cost of a C350.....I just don't see it paying off for me to do that

would the aem plug and play system work with this car at all. cuz all u would have to do is plug ur laptop and u can control the whole ecu with is. i know on my dads twin turbo vette thats the case i can just plug the lap top into the aem and i can changed pretty much anything
