Exclamation Alignment problems C63

Was so excited to get my C63 in April this year but now feeling very frustrated. This car always pulls to the left regardless of the road crown. It's not undrivable but very annoying. Had it in 2 times for repair and test drove it with the mechanic twice. They state "yes we feel the pull but the alignment specs are all correct, its a go go go!" Yes, it still go go goes to the left. I want to them! Any advice or experience? Thanks

Yeah, contact MBUSA about it. If they are anywhere near as good at BMWUSA (which I assume so) they will put their stealership in check.

I hate having to deal with poor alignment, always having to tightly grasp the steering wheel just to go straight. I hope they resolve this.

You are saying that all these cars pull when the road crowns? My car pulls even on flat roads (no crown), is that normal for these cars too?

What I like!
My C63 tracks perfectly straight.

OTOH my Evo 8 which has been professionally aligned pulls left. Go figure. It doesn't bother me.

CLK 500(Gone), C63 FTW!
I think it's just too sensitive to the road, compare with other model...so that's why, when we sit on the left hand side..it's got a tendency to go left because of the weight shifting??? just my theory

I have had the same problem with my S550 Launch. First it started off with the Airbag not working then after 3 or 4 visits to MB, they finally the problem. For some time I was all happy until this lady backs into my left rear of the car, leaving my back wheel bent inwards and making me pay more than 10 grand to get the car fixed properly through my MB dealer. After doing so I started noticing the same problem that you are having. The car pulls to the left and they can't seem to fix it because they state everything is in perfect order.

I eventually contacted my lawyer and now mercedes has agreed to take it back and pay me for the full amount. I need to figure out what to replace that S550 with but that is another topic. lol

Make sure your MB dealer marks this problem in your records and go contact a good lawyer because if they say its fine and it abviously isn't then that doesn't make any sense and unfortunately to knock some sense into people these days after all else fails, you have to resort to the court.

All The Best!

sounds like MB over corrected for US roads with your 63 since US roads camber to the right

Hell in Louisiana all cars are required by state law to "track" to the nearest pot hole.

But then every MB would pull. Mine and others' do not.....

And why would MB meet US safety and emissions specs, but not adjust their alignment specs? Every MB pulling on US roads due to "european specs" would be unacceptable.

Hey Tank I Have to agree with some of the others like Hans & Iku my car tracks perfectly straight as well.

When did you take delivery? Maybe it's something they've addressed from the earlier models? Not sure? But that kinda sucks. As for me, so far no issues, knock on wood! The upcoming road trip will tell the tale though.

Having just picked mine up - perhaps they are correcting the issue as mine tracks straight and can be driven hands off.

Have them use a road force balancer to see if the tire are the culprit. Sometimes, the tires cause this, not the alignment.

Lets just say it is great drivers car and I have not found any faults yet, you know how it is during the honeymoon.

I need a few more miles before we take a trip to our local SCCA venue.
