19" AMG V16 spoke wheels arrived

Hey guys, just to let you know, about thirty days ago i did order the C63 19" wheels that come on the eruo speced car with the PP. They arrived this morning, as posted before, if you really want them, you can order them through the mercedes dealer parts department. The wheels look awesome, cant wait to mount them on my car which is still about 6 weeks away from delivery! Now i will search for the tires to have mounted on these beautiful wheels.

the part numbers are for the fronts:B66031047 with a 45 offset and the rear:B66031048 54 offset, the front are 19 x 8 and the rear 19 x 9. As far as getting HRE for the same, I highly doubt that, they are much more, besides, IMO these wheels suit the car perfectly, i wanted to achieve the formula one safety car look and this certainly allows me to have that look.

Nice score Nick. Congrats!! I have narrowed my choice down to 2 19" wheels . The 16 spoke you just picked up or the HRE M40. Shopping around and I can get set of HRE's for $4700 so they are not that far apart.....

For tires I would give serious consideration to the P-Zero's. I just put a set on my C55 and have been very surprised at the overall performance and predictability. I have been Michelin guy for years but wanted to try the P-zero prior to my C63 arriving 'cause the dealer offered to switch out to PS2's if i preferred (they did that with my C55 when it arrived). I find the squarer construction on the P-Zero more stable and predictable over the rounder PS2.

Just me 2 cents....

My dealer quoted me $5500 (taxes included) for the wheels plus P-Zero tires. I am thinking of just buying the wheels and getting PS2s for them. I have a few friends with P-Zeros and they are only getting about 10,000 miles out of the tires. The PS2s are supposed to have much better tread wear.

Barry, nice delima, they are both awesome wheels, just keep in mind that the AMG ones are designed for our cars, yes I know, HRE are one of the best wheels, i guess it depends on what look you want, aftermarket or AMG Black series look. JohnEnglish, that is a pretty good deal as well, one option i was given through my dealer was that they could have incorporated the wheel and tire package into the lease, if you are leasing, but i chose to pay them outright as i can keep them a sell them later, just my .02cents, Nick.

If I decide to go with the 19" rims... How much do you think I could get for my New 18"? tires/rims

I'm trying to figure out final cost.... and I'm also wondering if the MB tire insurance coverage will transfer over to the New 19",,,

I have used both P-zero's and PS2's on my C55. Both wear VERY fast (Rears). Lucky to get 10k miles out a set of rears. Fronts on the other hand. I just removed a set of PS2's that had roughly 50K klm / 30K miles on the fronts and the rears had 12.5K klm / 7.5K miles on them. A good average for spirited driving with either make. Just count on 1 set front's for every 4 set's rears

If you don't mind me asking how much down did you put and what's your monthly payment? How much mileage and what options do you have?

Hey John, I'm in the GTA as well. That sounds like a great deal on the 16 Spokes with P-Zero's. Can you tell us what dealer offered that package??

That's from MB in Thornhill. However, I am going through the fleet managers at head office. I spoke to them, told them what I am looking for, they contacted a dealer and had the dealer call me back so you may not get the same prices going through the dealer.

I went to school with a guy at MB Canada and he put me in touch with them. That's why I can get fleet pricing on a single vehicle.

I was asking about your pricintg as I was curious as to how good of a deal I will be getting. I haven't got firm pricing yet as the 2009 pricing is not out yet.

Hey JohnEnglish, as the pricing hasnt come out, I know that they are diso****ing the car for me at $2500.00 plus they are guaranteeing at least a 1/2 point off if not a 1% reduction on the lease rate, I havent decided what to put down, I may use the funds that I collected from the sale of my 350Z as a down payment, with the lease you either pay now or pay later, it all works out in the end to the same amount.

AMG GT-R
I just ordered the 19" V16 spoke from the U.K for roughly $3500 including shipping, a link was posted on here a while back. They are supposed to arrive in 2-3 weeks, but I wouldn't be surprised if it took longer. I looked hard into the HRE M40s and 360 forged wheels and almost bought one of those, but after seeing the multi spokes in person on a SLK, and doing a Pshop of these in black, I decided to give these a try. The example of the SLR 722 GT with the black multispokes has a very race/sinister appeal that I'm trying to achieve.

I've always thought they looked good, but figured if I'm getting wheels just go with some light aftermarkets. But oem has its appeal too, and after I get them powdercoated I think I'll have just what I'm after. As far as rubber, I would like to put on the Toyo R888s, 235/19 in front and 265/19 in the rear, but I think the rears might be hard to get because I've heard they've JUST been released. Otherwise, maybe Toyo T1Rs or Mich PS2s.

Btw 1st amg, did you happen to weigh the wheels? Hopefully they are under 30 lbs?
