Remove Carbon Filters - B4 1k, or After?

Just as the title says..the day I get the C..should I remove the air filters that day...or wait till I hit 1k..?

If it was me I would say remove after 1000 mile check up just in case you new to bring the car in before that for any, check, CEL or recall.

It also helps if you remove other heavy and useless parts such as the steering wheel, hood, winshield, and doors. Your car will be twice as fast.

...But I would wait for the 1,000 mile service first.

I removed mine from the CLS after the service... I honestly did not want to push the car for the fist 1000 miles anyway, so I just tossed them after the breakin.
