Couldnt wait for MY 09, picked up My 08 yesterday

Couldnt wait for MY 09, picked up My 08 yesterday
Yup, after ordering my 09 back in April, tenorite with sahara beige, no premium etc, my dealer called me last week saying that someone cancelled on their 08 C63 irridium silver fully loaded, all packages, premium, nav etc. I went and saw the car having not seen one up close yet. The car immediately looked aggresive but subtle. After staring at it for quite a while and sitting in it i went home and the head scratching began. This was a color i never considered, not once, but for some reason, sitting in the showroom next to a c350 tenorite(steel) grey, this car seemed to show its lines exponentially more. I know it was a c350 sport and not a c63, but you get the picture. So i found myself wandering around the dealership on the weekend when they were closed, with my face smudged up against the window, steaming it up with my heavy breathing, immaging this car in my hands. This occured a few times over the weekend. Monday morning, they call again and said, if i want to take it for a spin, no one else had driven, seeing that i may have given off some vibes of "he might take this 08 rather than wait for his 09". So in I went, took it out and holy *****, this car is outrageous, no words will describe this car. What a monster, the sounds, this car from the minute you push the start button(keyless go), it shook the whole showroom, all sales people immediately ceased they re dealing with customers, the customers with jaws dropping all gawking as this car is iddiling and rolling out the showroom ready to be driven by me. The rumble of the 6.2 is phenomenal, there is a certain whine you also hear from the enjine bay as you accelerate, i beleive it is the tranny. The tranny really surprised me, as in many of my posts to new owners i was always very inquisitive of the 7spd as most off my cars were always standard. In manual mode which i drove with for 80% of the drive, shifts are almost immediate, i thought they would be slower, and the downshift with the throttle blip makes everyone young and old take notice, this car is freaking loud. This tranny double clutches better than Lewis Hamilton! The interior is beautiful. The powerplant, oh my what a beast, the sound guys makes you smile, your heart thumps when you accelerate. So, this car is now in my garage as I picked it up late afternoon yesterday. I have the 19 AMG 16 spoke wheels at the dealer as i ordered them and now i must intensify my search for rubber as i want these on the car, so i will take pictures once i find rubber for the 19 inch, if any of you have any questions regarding the car, ask away, i was one of the ones who was always asking questions as i didint have the car, btw it is leased, so there was no difference i waited for two more months for the 09 i orderd, besides, our summers are not that long, so better enjoy the car. Oh, one more thing, all the videos you see will never do this car justice, the sound of this thing in your hands is another story, i watched videos of this car daily and no way did i think this car sounded even better than the videos.

Thanks guys for all the comments, I will post pictures in a few days, I am just home for lunch to see the wife, 7mnth baby and the new addition of the family 
. Had to start it up as I usually am in one of the trucks during the day working to afford toys of all kinds. Cant wait to finish the day so i can take her out cruising, guys, just days ago I was one of the ones waiting for this car, and by some miracle it had changed and endend up in my garage, you guys have no idea what your in for, i am excited for the rest of you to get yours, you will all experience these feelings you just wont imagine. To put it into perspective, if any of you have gone to Las Vegas, no matter how many people have told you about it, all the exciement etc, it will never cease to amaze you, not like the blockbuster movie that people have been waiting for to be released, it comes out and it was so pumped it did not meet your expectations at all, well this car is like Las Vegas, no matter how many videos and stories, posts etc you read, this car will not dissapoint and it will exceed all expectations, I promise, Nick.

Great color choice and glad to hear that '08 is your lucky number too!
This car really is special. It is good at everything... no, make that great at everything.
Do yourself a favor... cruise with the driver's window all the way down, and the rear passenger window down halfway.... I swear it amps the exhaust noise right into your ear... even cruising around town it sounds amazing and makes me grin and laugh... it is so crazy to hear that sound coming from a car so solid and refined like the C63. It is just a very special car.

I'm in Toronto and I cant find a dealer that knows anything about the C63...approximate wait time, price of certain packages.....Its like as if they havent even delivered any let alone have any of their orders come up for production.

Congrats on the new car
I was in a similar situation, trying to move an old car to make room to order mine, (when).
Whoever ordered mine was crazy enough to walk away and I was the
first on the shotgun email list to all prospective AMG owners to arrive.
After sitting, starting and just looking at this car, I immediately set about
the 'special parking' area marking it like an animal to stake my claim.
