I've just came across this price update just right after midnight @mbusa.com, here's the link:

It shows pretty much all of the packages (inc. both performance package as well as an AMG performance package that includes the carbon fiber trim & 174mph top speed), the base price, however, says TBA.

i see it includes CF trim....but i thought that the CF and PP where seperate

im wondering if these are american or canadian specs???

after further inspection, looks like the site still needs some updating...

it lists the PP @ 6900....

later on, one of the options says : CDATA $1,100

and then they list yet another performance package @ 3900

so who knows.....

I went from MBUSA right into that website.

Says PP is $6,840, but that does include the wheels too. Says 18 inch...I thought they were 19's for some reason.

in anycase, they have 2 PP packages, one for 3900
and one with CF included and some different kind of rims

they says twin spoke two piece rims

ive never even heard of those wheels on the C63

OK, so while we're still waiting to hear the '09 MSRP, it looks like the price increases for the options are as follows:

AMG Seating +$30.00
Multimedia +$30.00
PII +$20.00
Metallic Paint +$10.00

So apart from the pending MSRP increase, it looks like I'm in for a whopping $90 hit for my '09. My dealer expects to hear the MSRP some time later today.

My car was released from the shipper to MBUSA yesterday and now just waiting for them to release to my dealer. Fingers crossed for a Saturday delivery!

I had my sales manager fax me the Netstar print-out and under 030 (performance package) all it says:

**Price Not On File**
251 : Delimitation of top speed to 174mph
471 :Limited Slip Differential Lock

doesnt say anything about Compound Brakes or AMG Sport Suspension. I know sometimes MB when they dont have it onfile they will just highlight the more important aspects of the option but it kinda has me worrying. Anyone else?

I calculated mine with PP and NY sales tax to be $76K...OUCH!

That's pretty much the same setup I am getting... damn, didn't realize it would run up so quick. I think the worst part is the bump in the base price. It's too much. Oh well... what can you do?

Anyone notice that "AMG Performance Package" didn't even include the limited-slip? And detailed information was not provided in reference to the regular "Performance Package", do you supposed one must also order the regular "Performance Package" in addition to the "AMG Performance Package" to get all of the goodies? If the regular one only includes limited-slip & 174 mph top speed.

I believe the $460 is a stand alone unit for the standard, non-GPS based system, like the old-school cd changer that you get with the W203, inside your glove box. Whereas the Multi-media includes an in-dash DVD/CD changer inside the GPS unit.

Looks like that so called "AMG Performance Package" has been removed from the price list as of this evening.

It's more than I would have liked but still presents better value than an M3 to the tune of about $5,000 and I prefer the car anyway.

I've a 09 print out from Canadian dealer, the AMG performance package include the follow:

Electronic Speed Limiter Deletion
AMG Limited Slip Differential
AMG Performance Suspension
AMG High-Performance Composite Brakes
AMG performance Steering Wheel (Nappa Leather with Alcantara Side Grips)
AMG Carbon Fibre Trim

With the print out, It has couple picture showing the Limited Slip Differential, Steering Wheel, suspension and Composite Brakes. But there is no 2pc. wheel mention or picture. Don't know if there are different with US and Canadian AMG pkg.
